Barbie Inspiring Women Series, Venus Williams Fashion Doll with Signature Tennis Uniform

I just received my Venus Williams Barbie. She looks just like Venus Williams. It is amazing how much she does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A replica of the tennis star Venus Williams! The face looks like her, spot on! Loved how the tennis ball can stay affixed to the racket. The ankles are a bit loose so the feet move easily a lot. Outfit is simple and cute.

I’m also happy that it took her imaginary play to the athletic field instead of the store. My daughter has three older brothers and sometimes relies on make-up to set her apart but this doll will inspire her to find her inner beauty and beast mode! Thank you Mattel.

Through this doll, she’s able to hold in her hands a symbol of courage and strength — a woman who changed the rules and paved the way for girls and women of all ages. She can’t put the doll down, and thanks to this special Barbie, she’s now curious about the sport of tennis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was exciting to open the box and take out this beautiful new face Barbie Venus Williams. Her face is lovely and depicts her well. She is wearing a replica of her 2007 Wimbledon Championship outfit and it looks adorable. We love that she has a made to move tall body which allows for so many poses. We had so much fun playing with her and posing her. There are endless ways to pose her and so much fun to play with because of all her articulation. We need more dolls with this ability. Again so much fun to play with.... Make sure to have little scissors to get her out the box. She is a collectable so she is tightly wrapped. Mattel did such a great job with this one. She is true to life and as a character so inspiring to all our future Tennis players out there. Her Face and Body are amazing. We are more into the play but her packaging was also really cool with a black and white backdrop of the stands and all the spectators. Venus pic on the side and back has a pic and biography. Overall we LOVE this doll.

A little disappointed… This was suppose to be delivered 9/25… now not arriving until 9/29. Was a birthday present to give on Saturday 9/27.
