[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Debbie Allen tribute Barbie doll is beautiful! She comes with a stand for displaying and wpuld make a wonderful addition to any collection. Even if you're unfamiliar with Debbie Allen, the doll is a designed well with a fun, sparkly, 80's inspired outfit that any child who loves Barbies would enjoy having in their lineup of dolls!. She has 11 points of articulation for movement and poses. Her face screening is flawless and they used a proper body type. My only personal complaint is that while they used a more curvy body type to represent the real woman Debbie Allen, they used the standard Barbie foot size which looks kind of awkward for her body. I can see the appeal of being able to interchange shoes with other Barbies so I'm certain that's why it was done, but the disproportionate feet compared to her body look off. Other than that, this is a well made doll. The hair is curly yet soft and on display she is stunning. Whether you collect or get her for play, the Debbie Allen tribute Barbie is a beautiful doll to have. Having her will inspire you to learn about Debbie Allen, an amazing woman who chased her dreams and helps others' dreams come true. She is truly worthy of a tribute doll. I love this line.

Loved the dance outfit. The warm up leggings are over the top. A great gift for any young dancer and a wonderful gift for a collector. Excellent quality.

This doll is definitely geared towards older doll enthusiasts, but I think the younger kids would also enjoy her as well. Starting with the box simple, yet sleek package, which includes a bio and real life picture of Debbie. I love that the company honors various people who made an impact on the world. The doll itself has vivid eye and cheek make up, with a nice red lip combo. I love that she has a short naturally curly hair style and removable gold-inspired earrings. I applaud this doll for having a curvy articulated body! It has articulation at the wrist, and knees but unfortunately no ankle articulation. The outfit is 2 separate pieces with the pants and top/onesie. The belt is removable as well as the adorable little leg warmers! I think this doll was beautifully done and that people of all ages can and will enjoy her. My daughters ages 7 through 12 years old said they love the outfit and the fact that she can bend and move unlike the basic fashionista dolls that they own.

The fact its based off a historical figure just made jt betterm this doll has now been the lead singer in a band, a fashion designer, a mom, a lawyer and even talk show host. From the loment it was taken out until it was bedtime, this doll had a very busy life! Now its propped up on its little display stand and ready for another day of play!
