Was not color changing as featured on the box.

My daughter picked this out at the store. Came home and we could not figure out how to get the cold water to make the yellow face on the dog. I read the different reviews and decided to go to the mattell website. It said “ice cold” water. I got ice and that worked! My daughter was so excited! In order to make that feature work. Needs to be ICE cold. And then she just used the warmth of her finger to wipe it off. Hope this helps others. There was not really any good instructions! Once we figured that out. She played with it for HOURS!

It comes with a really cute character who wears a nightgown, 2 dogs, slippers, a teddy bear, numerous sleep masks and of course popcorn!! Everything is very well made and is a great addition to a girls Barbie collection. A really cute set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute set that kept my 4 year old busy for awhile! She loves tucking the puppies into the sleeping bag. The color change is a little hard to really see and I'm sure the tiny toothbrushes will be lost soon, but otherwise this was great.

My daughter loves that there are so many things to use with this Barbie. The color change is too subtle for my 4 year old to even notice, but she loves feeding the dogs popcorn anyway. She also enjoys having Barbie and her puppies brush their teeth together then put on their masks for bedtime. We’ve kept this Barbie at home because I don’t want to lose any of the small accessories.

She totally enjoyed the different accessories that were included. She loved the fact that it came with two dogs to play along with. The cute design of the sleeping bag slots for the pups was so adorable. But with those being the high points here is the most devastating part of all. The toy claims to be color changing but it in fact is not. We tried cold water, warm water, and even hot (with adult supervisor) and nothing worked. This was the biggest part that she was looking forward to but barbie did not deliver, which was very disappointing.

We use all of the 13 included accessories! She loves using the three toothbrushes to ‘brush’ Barbie and the two adorable puppies. She then washes the dolls’ faces using the included washcloth, reads them a bedtime story with the book, then puts on their face masks. Her favorite part is tucking each doll in to the colorful sleeping bag. This is the perfect toy to teach routine and responsibility, while allowing imagination to grow.

All the little accessories were so cute. The Barbie and puppies were very durable and the little accessories were easy to pretend play with the puppies. The Barbie Puppy Slumber Party kept my daughter busy for hours.

The bed is super cute with the pockets for the animal friends right at the bottom of the sleeping bag where all puppies go. Would be a cute sleepover birthday gift for a Barbie lover! My daughter did have a hard time using the sponge for the color changing animals.

The eye masks for both the puppies and Barbie were a hit too! It is easy to use (my daughter is 4) and is entertaining as well. I would recommend this set to any kid that likes Barbie dolls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s slumber party time for this Barbie and her two puppies! The puppies are, by far, my kids’ favorite part of this slumber party playset. My 5-year-old loves brushing the puppies’ teeth with their own toothbrushes, putting on their sleep eye masks and tucking them in their own space in the sleeping bag. The puppy color changing face is fun but not necessary for play. The doll has red/auburn hair and does not look like a typical Barbie which is a nice change from other playsets. The package says ages 3+ due to small parts. The packaging had lots of small plastic straps so make sure you have some scissors to open. There are no stickers to apply after opening and no assembly.

She loves role playing with the doll and puppies…brushing their teeth, putting on their sleep masks and tucking them into their sleeping bag. She even reads them a bedtime story. The details on the pieces are amazing and make the playset very realistic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything was good except the color changing aspect with the dogs face, it was supposed to look like it has butter around its mouth when you get the little popcorn bowl sponge wet with hot water but it didn’t change at all even with cold water

Barbie comes with slippers, sleeping bag, different eye masks, and puppies are able to fit into the sleeping bag to snuggle at Barbie’s feet. Cute, fun and good quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is a great gift. My girls were so excited when this came in the mail. The Barbie comes with two puppies and lots of accessories. The accessories for the puppies and the Barbie are very well made and so cute. The kids had lots of fun putting the Barbie to sleep with pockets at the bottom of the sleeping bag for her puppies to tuck in. The puppies even have little sleep masks that fit perfectly around their eyes. My kids were most excited about the color changing face of the puppy. When you apply icy cold water the puppy’s face turns buttery yellow. Then when you wipe it with a warm cloth it will wipe back to clean. I would definitely recommend this for any dog loving child.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this, we have lots of dogs. My daughter loved having Barbie with 2 dogs, just like she does. The sleep masks for all 3 was nice. And they all fit in the sleeping. The only con was it was a little difficult to get one of puppies out.

The Barbie doll is really nice looking and not a 'high fashion' style. She looks like an ordinary person and even has freckles across her face! The two little dogs that come with her are ideal for our house since we have dogs also. She comes with a sleeping bag, masks (including some for the dogs), toothbrushes, slippers and a nightshirt. This is a nice little toy for the price and has good play value. I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness! This puppy sleepover set is SO cute! It has enough accessories to thrill my daughter, but not so much that storage becomes a problem. The little puppies even have their very on pockets on the sleeping bags! Seriously so cute!
