    I dont even like protein bars

    My husband eats plenty of protein bars cause he’s healthy and any time I tried them they are always gross. An influencer I follow talked about this brand and I tried them and loved them. My healthy husband says they are great for protein and calorie ratios. They are pricier at Target than other places though.

    Pleasantly Surprised

    I am very impressed with the taste of this bar. I have tried MANY, and I mean like A LOT of protein bars. All promising to be great tasting, candy bar, cookie, brownie, cake-like etc and never living up to the marketing or fake hype. I think I already had a stink face in preparation for nasty, sawdust, chalky weird after taste bite, but to my surprise it wasn’t. Now I wouldn’t say that there’s an intense flavor, it’s more subtle, but personally I’d rather have a subtle flavor profile with no gross “healthy/protein powder” taste than one that’s overly sweet/fake flavor trying to mask the nastiness. I have been a fan of misfits bars which are pretty good too, though I do find a somewhat meh aftertaste on those. With these I didn’t really get that. Of course everyone is different, but I think I’ll be sticking with these. I can now understand and agree with the hype of these bars. I will say I wish there was slightly more protein for the calorie count, but overall I think it’s a great bar. Hopefully the other flavors match this one.
