This tool is so perfect I bought one for my sister. Its simple design and amazing utility are all I need for quick tasks. It’s perfect when you need to do any gardening work away from home. It goesWith me whenever I spruce up some family cemetery plots.

This seems nice, but it is cheaply made. After less than one year of use, the blade snapped in half. Worse yet, the company won't replace what is an obvious workmanship issue. Don't waste your money.

For years I’ve been using a small garden claw to loosen roots when planting perennials. No more! I bought this great Hori Hori knife and it slices through and detangles roots with ease. I love it. (I should have bought the sheath too.)

I love this hori hori knife. I also have a green one from barebones. I bought the foraging bag and several other items to go with. I’d love to have the sheath to protect my bag as the knife is very sharp.I should have ordered it with the sheath but at the time I just wasn’t thinking. It’s been out of stock for a long time. Any idea when it will be back?

I learned about hori hori knifes from a friend who works in landscaping- he said they were a gamechanger for him in his work. I first purchased one and then another from local hardware shop. These were name-brand but were not even close to sufficent for the challenge - I broke them both in short order. Then I found this Barebones version of a hori hori knife and it has been a dream come true. Extremely strong and up to every challenge I've encountered. Dandelions, tree saplings, deep root thistle's in clay soil - no problem. I love this tool. Bought 4 more to gift this Christmas. Highly recommend!

Have been using the hori hori for over 2 years and has been solid and better than other hori horis. Though the full tang has a flaw that there is no support for prying rocks out of the soil besides the metal shield. As seen in the photo it failed and snapped which I don't think it should have

This is my favorite gardening tool, especially for knocking through clay or getting at weed roots under tree roots. My husband saw all my fun so I ordered him his own, both with the great sheath. Will be a nice tool for camping as well.
