"The Madison Park Galen Basket Weave Room Darkening Roman Shade offers a simple and convenient update to your home decor. This ivory roman shade features a basket weave texture base fabric that creates a natural look and feel. A thermal foambacking on the reverse provides energy efficiency and enhanced privacy. The cordless retraction mechanism makes it easy to open and close the window shade throughout the day, while the detachable fabric face allows for easier assembly and cleaning by lightly shaking or dusting. Though detachable from the hook and loop fastener, the top face fabric is NOT fully removable. Ready to install right out of the packaging, this roman shade can be hung inside or above the window pane allowing you to find the perfect fit for your home decor. Each shade is also OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it does not contain any harmful substances or chemicals to ensure quality comfort and wellness.
Shade measures 64-inches in length and comes in 8 width options to suit multiple standard window sizes; each roman shade is sold as a single and comes with a printed instructional guide as well as an instructional video available on site. Assembly is required."

I will be buying more for other rooms as soon as I can. If you have a light sensitivity, they would be good for you. I use them when I get migraines and they work well.

They are Stylish and has a thermal foam backing to provide energy efficiency and help block out light and noise. They were perfect for my dining Room. I put them up and tested them for daytime and night time use. During the day the sun shines pretty much right through them. In the evening and night they are pretty dark. The material is a pretty woven pattern and I love the shade of blue. I may get another identical set, Pitt them back to back and make it even more room darkening and will also keep the room warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

We are a third shift family, so sleeping during the day gets exhausting trying to make it all dark enough for you. We put these up, initially was okay, till we seen the sun come through. Wasn't happy. Not sure if it is the size of our rod, window, who knows. For now it's doing what it can to make it darker for us. But we may need a darker shade

I was struggling for months with trying to sleep for a new 2nd shift job, the super bright DAYTIME LIGHT was making it impossible for me, only allowing me 3 hours at most! With these my room is dark & cozy as night! I've also noticed a big change in the cold air that USE TO SEEP through our old windows, these have REALLY HELPED keep our room so much warmer on these cold fall nights. Only thing I didn't care for which is minor is the basket weave pattern, I will probably choose a more satiny smooth panel of theirs next! Theirs is a product worthy of reccomendation!

The curtains hang beautifully, I used them in my daughters room and the room darkening is a great benefit for early morning sunlight. The silver grommets are really pretty & quite large adding another interesting feature. These weave & grommets add to the panels since I opt for the nude/beige color, makes them more interesting! They are of a nice weight with the backing & quality fabric and machine wash & dry!

The window panels keep the sun and light out leaving the bedroom nice and dark. Helped me sleep in. The pattern in it is very nice and truly goes with any room. Definitely recommend for a bedroom or a child’s room.
