Baxter of California After Shave Balm 4 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried a lot of after shave balms and this is the best. There is one other that is comparable but not this affordable. I’m sticking with this. Too many others have a slimy feel. Not this.

Very good aftershave, with cooling and soothing properties. It’s unscented, but I wouldn’t mind a little fragrance. Gets the job done.

This is my favorite balm. This product feels like a gel. It absorbs quick and leaves no residue or build up on my face. I like the cooling effect. Putting this on helps prevent any razor burn

This after shave balm is by for the best I have ever used. No breakouts and a very cool feeling on your face and neck. I started using this product over a year ago when i was told about it from a friend. It beats any and all other after shave balms.

I have used the After Shave Balm for many years, and have given it as gifts. I find that it soothes my "delicate" skin, and nicely moisturizes after shaving.

This has been my favorite after shave balm since I first tried it more than 10 years ago. I have used many different brands and there are a lot of good ones, but this has become my go-to. It smells nice and light, it doesn't burn but it leaves your face feeling smooth and moisturized. The price point makes it an excellent value and each tube lasts me a long time. You don't need to use much. If you're thinking about trying it, I highly recommend it.

Very good product with the right thickness evenly disperses wet and than soaked in does not leav you greasy.

I bought the shave starter kit and honestly, do not like after shave balms . I use aftershave lotion and then rinse off with cold water. Instead, I tried the balm, which feels like a gel that slights cools the palm of the hand but absorbed instantly into the skin. I have not noticed any redness, itchiness. skin feels perfectly conditioned and matte feel after 6 hrs into the day. great product. definitely stands uptown the shave cream which is just AMAZING!

I started using this shaving balm about a year and a half ago and it is probably my favorite product to use on my face, not only because it's effective but because it's like getting a reward for shaving which gets tedious and often feels like a chore. This balm is beyond refreshing and I look forward to shaving because I know it's an excuse to use the product when I'm done. Another plus is that the tube lasts forever and a little bit goes a long way. I have sensitive skin so I'm very careful about what I put on my face. I got this as a gift for a friend and he was blown away by how cooling and invigorating it was; it is now one of his go-to products as well. I dare you to try it. I have tried several after shave balms in the past with same poor results, this is a gem, no irritation, no red spots, great smell and hydrates perfectly. Don't think too much, this is it!.

I have had the same tube for at least three months now! You don't need a lot to get a good effect. It leaves my skin feeling nice and cool, not heavy on the fragrance, and doesn't over moisturize. I use this right after I shave, let it absorb for a few minutes and then I throw on some lotion. It's definitely a good part of the kit.
