For a few things I need stronger protection, higher power capacity, more outlets, or some other specific feature, but for almost everything I use one of these

It is six feet which gives it enough room for my electronic devices. I like the circular connectors for easy plug in to electrical outlet. I love the rotating plug. It makes it so handy to be able to use it anywhere, without having to worry if you can squeeze the plug into small nooks and crannies. It's such a simple but useful feature that I never knew I needed, but probably wouldn't want to live without. The cord is about 6 feet long, so not terribly long. However, it does offer 6 outlets and it's a surge protector, so it's perfect for expensive electronics. Overall, it's a high quality item that makes life just a little easier. If you need a surge protector, Belkin is a strong choice.

This offers great ability to expand your power needs especially around your electronics. The 360 degree plug allows you to rotate to any angle you want where you plug into the wall. Although that feature seems impressive, I am not certain that it is necessary. The Surge Protector strip is a nice off white color to blend into the room well. This comes with a $15,000 connected equipment warranty for 2 years. Overall, a great surge protector for any application indoors. It is not to be used around aquariums or with other water-related products.
