Q: Are the dairy free Ben & Jerry’s ice creams gluten free? I am gluten intolerant and the label doesn’t specify.

A: Not all the dairy free Ben & Jerry's ice creams are gluten-free. Unfortunately, the "Milk" & Cookies Non-Dairy Frozen dessert is also not gluten free. However, the Cherry Garcia Non-Dairy one is.

This was absolutely the worst ice cream I have ever tasted. And I have tried my fair share of ice creams. But man… I was disgusted and disappointed:( this tasted like dumpster residue. Please try something else.

It's fairly tasty but the cookie bites are too big and not delicious. I get sick if I eat too much of this. I stopped eating it as it has too many cookie bites. It would taste better without the cookies and if chocolate chips were added instead.

This is the best vegan ice cream I’ve had and I have had every brand from Jenis to favorite day to talenti! This is literally amazing. You can’t tell it’s vegan, My fiancé who is non vegan ate it and enjoyed it equally as much as I did. Thanks Ben and Jerry’s for making this amazing ice cream.

I found out I was allergic to dairy in 2015 and have been relying on these non-dairy options for many years now. "milk" and cookies made with sunflower butter is now my favorite. I have never eaten an entire pint before, but I just did. Maybe if we can get americone dream made with sunflower butter it'll be Ben and Jerry's magnum opus!

I am lactose intolerant so tasting this I was expecting an almond milk base like some of their other flavors, but the first ingredient was “sunflower milk”? Idk, but I could tell. It was watery and largely flavorless. I couldn’t even taste “cookies”. If you’re looking for something cold and only mildly sweet, this product is for you— but it’s really not my thing.

How does this have better reviews than the almond milk based frozen desserts from Favorite Day? Especially caramel brownie which actually tastes like ice cream, whereas this doesn’t even come close to resembling ice cream in flavor. This is disgusting, the sunflower seed butter makes it taste like something other than dessert or ice cream. I love the original Milk & Cookies and I’m not familiar with the other flavors of non-dairy dessert offered or am not much of a fan so it’s disappointing that this is like the only flavor made with sunflower seed butter. Please make this flavor using almond or oat milk. Please also expand the flavors that come as non-dairy options.

It's so flavorful, doesn't even taste dairy free. With a severe nut allergy it's hard to find good ice cream that's nut and dairy free but this is by far my favorite

I just enjoyed this tonight. WOW. I love Ben & Jerry’s non dairy almond milk, so I was extremely excited to try a sunflower butter version. I truly appreciate the way the textures of these ice creams are just like ones that include milk. The texture of many dairy free ice creams has been the biggest problem, for my family and I. I do wish that the ice cream itself was a little sweeter in other Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy options. But all the cookies and chocolate swirls make this perfect. Keep experimenting! And we will be buying when you try out dairy and gluten free options together as well!

I took a bite and thought it tasted like fake bad honey and the texture was like a popsicle. My hubby tried it and thought it tasted like Chinese food! This is not a good flavor at all it's bizarre really. I thought it would be like the yummy non dairy Cherry Garcia. not in the slightest this one is gross!!

I was afraid of it saying “sunbutter” because that is T something we’ve tried before, but this is very good. My daughter said it’s her new favorite and said “Ben and Jerry really know ice cream” (she has an allergy to dairy and has only had their ice cream a few times) my son and I tried a scoop too and liked it a lot even though we mainly eat dairy ice cream.
Favorite non-dairy B&J's flavor has changed and I'm sad..

This was my favorite non-dairy, B&J’s flavor! But, something has changed. I visited Target today (11-20-2022) and went to the ice cream section looking for it. When I found it, I noticed the label was different. It’s a green label instead of yellow like before. Companies change marketing material all the time so I didn’t think anything of it. I just opened the container to start munching away and they’ve changed the formula! I’m so disappointed! Instead of creamy, non-dairy vanilla it’s now slightly icy! Like what you get from watered down non-dairy ice creams. The cookies are also kind of dry, which is weird since they’re encased inside a container of ice cream. It’s edible, don’t get me wrong. It’s doesn’t taste bad. But I’m not craving it like I used to. If I go to buy it again, I’m going to look for the old label specifically. Otherwise, I think I’m going to have to find a new fave :(

this ice cream is phenomenal! this tastes and has the same creaminess as regular ice cream, it’s mind blowing. I have a milk and tree nut allergy so I kind of gave up on ever eating ice cream again because I don’t like coconut milk ice cream until this. I’m so happy there’s a different non dairy alternative that is good quality and delicious. I highly highly recommend this ice cream!!
