A: The stainless steel mesh colander has a 2.5 quart capacity. Keeping in mind it is a mesh colander and will not retain liquid unless a solid barrier is in place.

Sturdy. Well made. Nice to put in the sink then drain liquid from rice or pasta. Helpful not to have to hold the pot and the strainer.

Functionality meets essential style. Most colanders are simply for function but style is an added bonus. The legs give it a helpful stand as my other silicone colander falls within itself.

I have had this for 6 weeks now. It is very well designed and easy to clean. I really like it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well made colander which should last for years if it is taken care of.

This Colander is very well made. It is very sturdy. The mesh is not flimsy, it is strong and firm. The measurements are correct. Handle to handle is about 11 1/2 inches. The footing is about 1/2 inch off the surface. And the basket is about 3 inches high. It is small. Would hold a little more than a few pints of berries. Looks like it will last for years. Worth the price.
