Not as expected
Softer than expected. Flimsy and I am worried our kids will roll their ankles. At first I thought it would be a good thing coming folded in half, but this makes it more of a safety hazard.

Great for starters
Great for my 6 year old just starting out gymnastics. She’s able to practice the basics on this that she learns in class. It’s not a firm or tall as a real balance beam but it does it’s job.

Excellent for young aspiring gymnast
This beam is just perfect for my 5 year old. The foot space is not narrow but not too wide. She has been using it every day since she received it along with the tumbling mat. Would definitely recommend for young aspiring gymnasts.
