Q: Could this be re-stained in order to make it more weather resistant? I live in Chicago - summer can be 90s and extremely humid and in winter sub zero.

We recommend talking with a local varnish/stain seller and asking what is recommended for pre-stained fir wood.     Nice Lattice Trellis pair

    I was looking for a smaller trellis as a barrier for my airconditiioning unit. These worked perfectly. I am mechinacally challenged with any kind of tool, but I was able to get these together with no problem. Instead of using them as a trellis, I am going to decorate them with metal art, and use the plant bins for storage of outside items I use on a regular basis.

    Flimsy. Easy to assemble because it's extremely lightweight wood composite. Much shorter than expected. I think I thought the height of trellis was above and beyond the height of planter. You can't plant directly in planter, it would fall apart. Need to set pots in. Not for me. I need sturdier.

    I have several of these

They are a great addition to my other containers and am looking forward to growing climbing plants or those that need additional support. One will be for tomatoes and the other for beans. Am looking forward to having them on my deck, the others look great when filled with veggies and I expect no less of these.

    I Love These Planter/Trellis Boxes!!!

I used cut down heavy duty trash bags to line the boxes to keep the wood from the moisture, cut holes for the drains. I planted with Starter Flowering Vines & can’t wait till they fill out & cover the Lattice!!
