A: Yes, it most certainly will, especially when new and handled for the first few times. Moreover, once tree is used for multiple seasons, the flocking powder will shed less.

A: The base pole width is approximately 1.75" which pretty much is industry standard for a 9ft tree. Tree collars are usually universal in application.

it looked like it would be an amazing tree in the beginning but when I put it together and fluffed it, there's so many gaps and it doesn't look like the picture at all I was so disappointed, I moved the tree around to see of there was a specific way it was supposed to align but nothing, I can't return it because I already opened the box and put it up.

Overall happy with this tree. The only negatives are how much of the flocking comes off (which I was expecting with a flocked tree) and that a couple of the "branches" seem loose and hang lower than the others on the bottom. I fixed it by holding it in place with a tooth pick.

Cheap looking and messy
I bought this after Christmas last year while it was marked down and I wish I wouldn't have that way I could return it. It is the cheapest, ugliest looking tree, it's that really cheap plastic green underneath with some fake snow that's not going to last at all! I am so mad that I bought this and I'm now stuck with it I'm probably going to use my broken tree because it's ugly. And it's made a huge mess already getting it out of the box. It wasn't worth $100 and I paid that price on clearance.

I was so excited to get this Christmas tree because I've always wanted a flocked tree. When I opened the box, there was so much of the "snow" loosely in the box. It was extremely messy putting it together. I'm hoping that over time, the snow will stop coming off. Despite it being so messy, it is a beautiful tree.
