Big Barker 7" Orthopedic Dog Bed - Headrest Edition

My dog loved this bed, but despite taking great care of it (no spills, no accidents, always covered with an extra sheet), the foam developed a strong, mildew smell that triggered my asthma and made it unusable. The product description even says "the normal cover is moisture resistant,” yet that didn’t prevent the issue. Customer service’s solution was to sell me an expensive replacement insert, which was disappointing. Not worth the high price tag.

First we got an extra large for the lab and are so pleased we bought two more for the smaller crates. Think the liner is important to keep beds dry and clean. Liner also makes the bed easy to get on and off for washing which we do once a month.

Our girls love their Big Barker Beds so much. They both have their own Big Barker Bed. In this picture I just put on a newly washed cover and the other cover is drying in the dryer. I had to laugh they love their beds they will even share.

Won’t find them sleeping anywhere else! Best bed ever!

Here is Jake's unboxing pic. He has sense of when something that arrives is for him! He immediately walked over and laid down. This is his downstairs and car bed now, and he loves it! He's 15 and we're keeping him as comfy and active as possible, always our baby.

Bought this bed for our senior dog. I want sure how she would take to it, she loved it. I love that it is good for her joints.

I have a 12 year old Rottie who has slept on a ton of different beds. I could have saved a lot of money had I bought the big barker bed sooner. The Big Barket bed is the ONLY bed with 7 inches of thickness that does NOT include the height of the sofa. It is the easiest bed for my dog to stand up from with his hind end weakness. The fabric and waterproof covers come on and off easily and that makes the bed very easy to keep clean. No more throwing a lumpy bed in the wash and trying to get it dry. The Big Barker bed is cool in the summer and in the winter, I add a fuzzy throw on top and my boy is very happy with his bed. I just bought a second bed along with the waterproof liner and I highly recommend this bed to folks who have dogs with ortho issues or if you just want to stop buying bed after bed after bed.

We bought our Big Barker a few weeks ago and wish we had of done it earlier! You get what you pay for! We have had 3 Danes over the years and as they get older the ability to get into our King bed becomes a struggle. So thankful we looked outside for the best dog bed for our Dane. We are relieved that this will both provide comfort and support for our Danes throughout their life! Don’t waste your money on other beds invest your money in Big Barker Orthopedic Dog Beds!

I foster senior dogs for our local animal shelter. I needed a bed that would provide great support for their entire body and didnt sag giving support when rising up off the bed. So happy I purchased the Big Barker, without a doubt this is the best bed I've ever purchased. I never leave reviews but thought it was important to leave a review from a customer and hope this helps when choosing a bed, it's everything it says it is.

My senior dog was having trouble getting up from her old bed that was sagging in the middle. I'm glad I found this bed--the foam is very supportive and my dog hasn't had any more problems getting up! I'm happy to support a product made in the USA.

Got this a month ago. All my animals love it. I tried it myself, it is big enough for me and my dog. I have not slept in a bed for 15 years due to back pain, I fell asleep snuggled next to my dog and slept for over a hour. Thanks for a great product, my 11 year old Lab is getting around better because of your bed

This is our second Big Barker XL purchase, and we love them as much as our dogs! Excellent quality, easy to clean, and worth every penny. It took a day or two for our dogs to get used to, but Char & Brasi don’t go a day without lounging and snoozing on their beds. While they each have their own, they love to cuddle! This bed holds both Danes without any sagging - amazing!

Buying a Big Barker bed has been the best investment for my large malamute and his health, he loves his new bed and his joints seem to love it just as much! Big Barker beds are great quality, easy to clean, very comfortable (yes, I tested it out), and made with the best interest of our fur babies.

That I didn't buy one long ago! This is my 90# boy on his extra large orthopedic bed. Plenty of room to stretch out, super comfy, easy to clean. One year old, still looks new. Bought 2 more for patients at my veterinary hospital. Wasted lots of money on cheap beds that broke down after a few months. Can not be happier. Big Barker rocks!

We have had our Big Barker bed for about two weeks and could not be more pleased. We have a 9 year old male lab who has always been a very big boy, weighing 92 lbs now. Finding a bed that was long and wide enough and that offered any support has always been an issue. We purchased the XL bed and he is able to stretch out and have extra length and width space. We highly recommend the Big Barker bed!!! Pictures posted without bed is to show how big our boy Max is.

My 10 year old 125 pound pointer mix has had both ccls repaired. He was really showing signs that he needed a bed that better supported him. We also have a 2 year old German shepherd so we decided to get the giant size. We were hesitant at first with making such an expensive purchase but we are so glad we did. They love their bed and the pointer mix has already shown signs of improvement after only 2 weeks. My son even likes laying next to them and cuddling together.

I got the extra large sofa style bed for Asgard, my 6 month old GSD, to grow into. This breed is prone to hip and elbow dysplasia so I wanted to make sure he had reliable orthopedic support from the start to reduce risk of further health issues in the future. He loves his bed!
