Backseat Barker: SUV Edition

Excellent bed for my dog! The quality is fantastic and It fits perfectly in the back of my SUV. I have a senior dog with arthritis so this bed is perfect for his joints and his overall comfort! I highly recommend this dog bed!

I was going on a driving trip about 10 hrs away and this looked like the perfect thing to help keep my pups extra comfortable on the ride! I am SO glad that I did!! I have now pulled this out of my vehicle and use it as an extra "cuddle space"...they both LOVE it! Well made and durable.

I have a service dog who goes with me everywhere in my small SUV. I was always concerned about his comfort in the back with the back seats folded down because of door handles and the conformation of the doors. This bed has bolster pillows that lean up against the back doors and form a perfectly safe and comfortable bed for my dog, while leaving enough room behind the bed for his harness, water, food, and groceries. This is truly a perfect design!

We have not had a chance to use the bed yet, but hope to very soon. The bed is not exactly as pictured ,but looks very nice and well constructed. It fit our Toyota Highlander perfectly and I am sure it will be very comfortable for our dogs.

We just purchased our second Big Barker for our new bigger SUV and again couldn’t be happier. We also now have 2 dogs and they both are relaxed and comfortable. We love BIg Barker so much we have a large bed and an XL bed as well as 2 large crate beds. My husband and I joke that the dog’s beds are more comfortable than ours when we snuggle with them on their beds. Hands down best investment.

We have 3 golden retrievers and bought this bed for our new vehicle. We normally have a hard time getting them to lay fown during trips but the very first time riding in the vehicle with the bed they laud down on it within 10 minutes. Matter of fact we had a hard time getting them to come to us because they were laying in it and apparently so comfortable that they didn't want to get up. I'm disabled with a back injury. I laid on it to gage the comfort of it. I found it to be very comfortable even for me. I highly recommend getting this bed if you care about your furbabies health and comfort level.

I just put one of the backseat barkers in my small SUV. It fits perfectly and my dogs love it. I think I have to get a second one so they're not fighting over who can sit on it :) My 12.5-year-old German Shepherd especially loves it.

We’ve had this bed for a while now. My 160 lb Great Dane loves it and he looks so comfortable laying on it. I love that he chooses to lay on it rather than climb in my lap while I’m driving and it seems to absorb the impact of bumps! We purchased the XL and it fits perfectly in the back of my Ford Explorer with the 3rd row folded down!

I have a Subaru Forester and this bed fit our 2 dogs comfortably for a long road trip. They were able to use it as their bed when we got to our destination. Cover is made of nice material.

We have three Great Danes that have struggled riding in the car for years. Your bed has solved the problem. They are now able to ride without constant slipping and sliding.

I came across this bed while searching, “how to travel with big dogs.” My Chocolate Lab has had ACL surgery on both of her back legs and has severe arthritis in her hips, so traveling is not fun for her anymore. She can’t get comfortable and tries to sit up the entire trip. I’m so HAPPY I found this product. She loves it and I feel relieved. She’s safe and not tripping on blankets in the back of the car. Absolutely love our new big barker bed!!! Super soft and comfortable for our babies....they are in love with now riding in comfort in the back seat. Definitely a great buy! Very happy!!!

I brought the SUV edition of the Big Barker Bed for my 2020 Ford Explorer and it actually fits perfectly. My bloodhound was really comfortable riding in the car for our three hour trip to a campground. Naturally, she tracked in dirt and debris onto her bed. Clean up was a breeze, just lift and shake and the bed was clean. Best of all it is 100% American Made.

I'm not happy at the moment. If I would have known when I made the order what I know now, I would have purchased a different bed. Good product, very misleading description. I guess it's my fault for not asking the correct question about size. I feel like there should've been a picture with measurements showing what was length and width. The bed I purchased does not come close to doing the job I wanted it to. I would have chose a different bed/ style had I of known their way of measuring. Again I say, good product but misleading and or not detailed enough description about size..... Just my opinion.

This is a great bed for my big fur baby. He stands a lot during car rides; with this bed it makes it safer for his legs/hips. He loves laying in it during long car rides. Plus plus- he hasn’t eaten it like other beds!

I'm so happy with my purchase. I have a newfoundland and this fits great in the back of my 4runner and he has lots of room. So glad I bought it!

I had been looking for something like this for a while now and once I finally received the bed I was very pleased. The sides of my trunk kept getting scratched up by my golden retriever and I spent so much time searching on the internet for something that would protect the sides of the trunk. Once I found this product I was so relieved. Now I know my dog is comfortable in the trunk and my trunk is protected from my dog!

We have three Great Danes, and Ridlee is the only one who prefers to ride in the back of our Dodge Durango. Blankets and mats were not cutting it. He needed more comfort, and I wanted the side padding. This bed is perfect! We were so happy with the quality of this bed, we came back and ordered the Big Barker Headrest bed! All three of them fit on it! So glad we found Big Barker!

Our 8.5-year-old lab mix is still going strong, but can get a little achey, sometimes. The Backseat Barker is a perfect fit for our Subaru Outback, and Pippin is now alert and pain-free during car rides!

We have mastiffs. They’re massive. When we found out our elder statesman had a bit of arthritis our vet suggested getting a really good orthopedic dog bed. We searched and found Big Barkers. The reviewers were amazing. And the products did not disappoint. The big guy did so well with his (less creaking and limping after lying about) that we got a second for our upper floor. When we realized the house hippo was not loving his bye byes as much as he used to because his chariot just wasn’t as comfy for him as it used to be we went shopping again at, you guessed it… Big Barker. We are addicted to our land walruses. And because they are spoiled and only deserve the best we will never get anything other than Big Barker beds. Amazing product. Ten stars!
