Description
The effectiveness and versatility of Bioderma's Sensibio AR comes from its formula: its exclusive Rosactiv™ patent helps to visibly decrease the look of redness and provides comfort and radiance. The natural D.A.F. (Dermatological Advanced Formulation) complex helps to improve skin tolerance, targeting visible redness. Its formula improves the cutaneous hydration barrier and helps to support skin’s ability to defend against external aggressions. Soothing agents such as avocado extract, glycerin and canola moisturize, contribute to improve the barrier function and provide real skin comfort.
Apply Sensibio AR onto clean skin, cleansed with Sensibio H2O. Gently massage until fully absorbed.

submitted bySuzyD - 4 months agoA: SuzyD, a quick Google search & I found this info for you, hope it helps. An excerpt from an article on everydayhealth.com explains: “Finding Alcohol-Free Skin-Care Products If a product is labeled “alcohol-free,” it will not contain ethyl alcohol, per the FDA. Yet one look at the ingredient list might tell you your product includes fatty alcohols like cetyl, stearyl, cetearyl, or lanolin alcohol. Those are an entirely different category. Helpful Types of Alcohol in Skin Care Fatty alcohols such as cetyl, stearyl, and cetearyl alcohol are derived from fats. “Fatty alcohols are often found in cleansing lotions and moisturizers as thickeners and emulsifiers,” says Frieling. They aren’t irritating and can be beneficial. “Because of their ability to lock moisture into the skin and form a protective barrier that water can’t penetrate, products with these ingredients work best for dehydrated skin,” she says.” https://www.everydayhealth.com/smart-skin/alcohol-in-skin-care-is-it-ever-okay/ And according to AI: Arachidyl alcohol is a waxy fatty alcohol often used as an emollient and emulsifier in cosmetics. It's a straight-chain fatty alcohol with 20 carbon atoms, typically derived from the hydrogenation of arachidic acid or arachidonic acid found in PEANUT OIL. It's considered a non-irritating substance and is used for thickening, viscosity control, and stabilizing emulsions in various skincare products.

Q: Is Rosactiv a vasoconstrictor?
A: Dear valued customer, Thank you for your question! We appreciate your interest in our Sensibio products. Our Bioderma Sensibio AR Redness Reducing Cream is designed to target the key factors contributing to skin redness. While not explicitly labeled as a vasoconstrictor, it does work to inhibit the synthesis of VEGF, which is a major factor in the dilation and weakening of skin capillaries causing redness. We hope this information is helpful, and we appreciate your interest in Bioderma. Best Regards, The Bioderma Team
