BioLite Fire Pit Grill Lid

nice addition! got it on sale. fits the bill! it is what it is... can't get it elsewhere...

I was one of the people who invested to get the fire pit started and this is something that I have been wanting on great job

This was a Christmas present and something told me to open it because it was retaped. I was shocked at the quality. It was a return that they didn't inspect why it was returned. I could only post 6 pictures, but I have several more spots of bad quality. This is not Biolite quality and if this is what they are making, I will stop buying Biolite (was just about to get solar panels, but I am going elsewhere).

Fit perfectly. I wanted the lid to help snuff out the fire and make it safer when the fire is not completely out. Haven't tried out yet, but cooler Temps are coming. My fire pit will be my outdoor see through fireplace insert. Will burn half the wood compared to just using the open fireplace.

Now you have a real grill. Very easy to make use of your pit other than just a pretty fire. The tase with real wood is amazing and this lid gives you good control over the temps.

Fits well and packs nicely in the carrier that I had purchased previously. Looking forward to taking the whole setup to the beach!

I haven’t used it yet, but it seems to be well made and it fits the grill very good.

Finally! My FirePit system is complete! Solid construction and a smoke-free fit. Along with the grill and griddle, I now have an incredibly efficient and mobile bio-mass burner, oven, smoker, and heater. I've rendered logs to charcoal for later fires, burned pellets, and cleaned up fallen leaves so far. The upright locking cool-touch handles allow me to safely move the FirePit (and lid) wherever I need to and it's a comfortable height to use while seated. The top damper seals well and supports smoke curing as well as more efficient gasification and cleaner burns.

I was a little skeptical of how well it would hold heat given the bottom of the FirePit is a mesh. Well it holds heat great up at the top while still allowing combustion below. Fits great in the FirePit cary bag.

Welcome addition to the set. Only thing lacking is temp gauge.

Perfect design that fits perfectly. I can heat my buns up on top of the lid while my burgers are cooking below.

This lid keeps all the embers from escaping. It transforms the fire from an open pit to a bbq sized covered fire pit. Cannot wait to bake things using this lid. Wonderful addition to the FirePit.
