BioLite Fire Pit Mat

Works as described. Worth the money. Never go wrong with a little extra safety.

We use this mat to get our fire pit off the ground. Raises the height for cooking and enjoying the radiant heat of the fire.

This mat is high quality it does a great job protecting the grass under my fire pit and gives me peace of mind.

Does what it is supposed to do. Little on the heavy side, but might make the difference with fire regulations and such

I bought the FireMat several years ago. I have used it with my FirePit but I mostly use it when grilling while camping. I have a wood pellet grill and a regular grill that can generate enough heat to burn a picnic table or our fold up table. I always use the FireMat under whichever grill I'm using to protect the table. I've even used the FireMat has a heat shield between the grill and our camper once when the only level ground I had for grilling was to close to the camper exterior. I use this FireMat so much that I just bought a second one.

It works, plain and simple, it deflects the heat, keeping the grass from being burnt

It seems to work, we used it u der the solo stove firepit my buddy brought since the firepit didnt work at all

Great accessory for my BioLite FirePit. Offers great protection for surfaces which provides flexibility for FirePit placement.

Haven't used yet, but appears well made, heavy enough to put on a deck and not worry about scorching it (I plan to just use in camping areas where there may be grass) and rolls up & fits inside for transport.

The fire pit mat works very well in protecting wood and synthetic surfaces. It is a bit small so make sure your wood is kept within the Biolite unit and attended. The silver color distracts from the earthiness of the fire. It would look better in black.

Just what I needed - keeps the ground safe from burn.

Good to have to keep the embers at bay. Easy clean up and it has a nice carry pouch.

Nice fire mat, good size, packs up nicely, lightweight. Overall good product.

The mat works, however when cooking the grease splatter get all over it and then its hard to clean. Not the mats design just probably not for cooking. One ember fell on the edge of it and it burned the edge, so the mat is fire proof but the edges are not. Over all its ok.

So far also good but edging melted in one place on first use out for camping trip to protect picnic table.

Very well made and rolls up for easy transport. An extra layer of protection when needed.

Over priced and it comes with a case but the fire place didn't? The only way i can have a cover is to buy a solar one?

I used the firepit on the mat which was on a wooden picnic table and had no heat issues on the wood after about 30 minutes use.

Works great in my tent with my stove. Well built and heavy duty.

Excellent addition to the FirePit, as I genuinely feel the quality build and size of the mat allowed the heat from the Pit to emanate longer and hotter. Easy to clean up like the Pit itself.
