Q: Can this safely go on a wooden deck?

A: Hi Kt - Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in Wood Burning Outdoor Metal Fire Pit Chimenea. Wood-burning fire pit might not be the outright safest option for a deck. The reason is that the ashes can fall through the cracks in the fire pit and catch fire with the materials underneath. The hot embers and ashes can also cause the deck to discolor or even damage the wood. I hope this helps - Emma

Q: How wide is the opening? I see 17" deep but I'm trying to find an electric insert to put in before I purchase and I want to make sure I can find one that fits

A: I was looking for this too, for the same purpose :) But -- instead of a full insert, you [we] can use an electric log. Then add a mesh screen if desired, for the aesthetic or to keep little ones out!

I never write reviews, but I have to for this product. This fireplace is amazing! I got it on sale for $100 and it was well worth the price. It heats up our entire outdoor space, looks so cute, the best part is the chimney pushes the smoke up and away from our faces. I definitely recommend this product!

For the brand name I thought this was gonna be great addition to my home, since I love the brand and have purchased majority of all the collection for my home. I was so disappointed, it’s rusted! And a pain to assemble. They dropped the call on this was the quality it not there!

Arrived damaged with nicks/scratches and incorrect drill holes; which did not allow all screws to screw in. The packing was ok, only giving 3 stars because I can fix these issues but… More thought (especially safety and quality control) should be given when listing items that pose safety hazard target

Arrived with rust spots already on it. The screw holes did not line up (which didn’t bother me too much). I didn’t notice the rust spots until it was fully put together and it’s too much of a hassle to perfectly fit everything in the box and mail to return. To compromise, I spray painted it while thing with fireproof paint. It looks decent and holds up when burning wood.

This fire pit is exactly what we needed for cool evenings! It’s sturdy, well-built, and looks fantastic. We’ve already roasted marshmallows with the kids, and it’s now a family favorite!

This came in good condition and is very attractive. It does seem a little flimsy but right now it is holding up well. The instructions do advise that you not leave outside as rain and weather may rust or ruin the product which would be hard to bring into home every time after use. I can update my review in a few months but I do suggest you buy the warranty in case the product is ruined which I have done after reading the prior reviews.

Complete garbage, used one night, then it rained the next day, I went out today to start up a fire and noticed the paint completely flaking off everywhere. I am beyond disappointed as I thought I had finally found an affordable chiminea that fit a more modern style. You get what you pay for here. You would be better off using a hollowed out metal barrel for what this is worth.

This is pretty small, normal firewood won’t sit in it. But other than that, it burns fine. It should be noted that it rusts terribly if it even just gets dew on it, so buyer beware.

This is a great small chimenea. Look at the dimensions for if it would fit well for your space. It is best to use smaller logs or kindling for it, rather than large logs because it is smaller. It works great to not smell smoky and looks so good on our patio. I get a ton of compliments on this chimenea.

I liked the look but it was much smaller than I thought. Almost impractical. Also, the holes did not line up for assembly. Then after a month, it showed signs of rust.
