Designed for use with BioLite FirePit. The BioLite FirePoker’s broad flat edge helps stoke fuel and ensure logs are properly stacked for ideal airflow. The curved point hooks onto the FirePit's fuel rack for easy adjustment to the charcoal or wood setting. Great item to go with the fire pit, as you need this type of tool to open the top grate as well as to adjust the firewood inside. Silicon handle is nice too!

Just the right tool
Love this simple poker! Like the handle and the tip doubles as a hook to pull the wood--not stylish but very functional. I bought one for my wood stove too. Again, having a strap or compartment for this in the FirePit bag would be nice.

Worth it for FirePit daily use and maintenance
Love this all-in-one design and it's an excellent compliment to my FirePit set. Just as advertised, it works great for moving racks, logs, and scraping out ash and charcoal ~ I've even used it to toggle the vent on the lid and provide a little extra distance on the hot side in the few instances where I wanted to adjust the Pit location while the flames were high ~ I tend a lot of fires in a bunch of different setups with everything from a twig to a long sturdy branch to a full professional toolkit ~ for all the nuances of tending fire in the FirePit, this does everything needed expect cut your logs and stoke it for you ;-)
