A squirrel proof bird feeder that really works and looks great, too! This Birds Choice pole-mounted feeder has been tested and endorsed by The National Audubon Society. The 6" diameter seed tube is made from UV resistant polycarbonate. The feeding ports are cast aluminum and the perches are stainless steel. The metal top and squirrel baffle skirt feature a beautiful baked-enamel green finish. Also includes a multi-section steel pole for mounting. 1.2 gallon seed capacity - dispenses sunflower, peanuts or a blend. The squirrel-proof design stops pesky squirrels from getting to your bird feed. Complete feeder, squirrel baffle and pole kit (3 section pole, 5’8” total length).

Q: I just set this feeder up and the seed just pours out of the "ports" when a bird lands on the perch. I now have a LOT of seed on the ground. Does anyone know how to keep this from happening?

A: There should have been a clear plastic piece with legs inside of the tube. This is called the metering ring. It will help prevent the seed from pouring out of your ports. If this was missing please contact Birds Choice at 866-995-2473 and we can get one sent out to you.

Good results with this bird feeder
This is the second birder feeder I have purchased and I am well pleased with this product. The squirrels have tried to gain access to the bird fee without success. The birds seem to be able to feed easily. It is easy to fill and clean. My first feeder is two years old and holding up well.

broke after 2 months
Loved this until the entire bottom came apart after only 2 months. If I lift it off the pole the enitre contents will empty. It was wiggling so much on the pole. This is when I realized it was completely broken. This used to be an amazing product years ago.

Great pole feeder, my 2nd one
I bought one 8 years ago and it's till functioning, though a little beat up from falling on the ground. I really bought a new one with an extension pole so I could see the birds close to my window (so the feeder needed to be taller). The birds love it, and it prevents squirrels from eating all the seed. It's the only feeder that has lasted so long. So, it has been good value for the money.

Get the extra pole!
If your garden is like mine there are plenty of launching pads squirrels can use to leap onto the bird perch even if the built in hollow baffle is successful. The Xtra 24” makes it almost impossible for them to reach the feeder no matter what. Highly recommend!

Excellent feeder, excellent customer service.
I've had this feeder for over a year and the birds absolutely adore it. I didn't even realize Florida had so many cute birds till I installed this feeder. The squirrels try to figure out how to partake, but fail every time. I needed to contact customer service and they assisted me quickly and with courtesy. My birds didn't skip a beat with the lightning fast resolution Birds Choice extended to me. I recommend this product and company most highly!

Very Disappointed.
I was very disappointed with this bird feeder. I had previously bought one several years ago and it served me well. The one I just purchased has a loose feeding perch which is allowing moisture to get in to the seed. With the hard winters we experience here in the Northeast, I expect this feeder will not do well for my birds as the snow will get in to the seed.

I have gone through quite a few bird feeders, and this is the best feeder I have ever used. It's the only one I found that keeps squirrels away. It's sturdy, easy to fill and clean, and accommodates a large volume of food. Thank you!
