PLEASE keep this at all locations. So many Target stores have stopped carrying it now that they have been putting more in-house brands on the shelves. Birds Eye’s edamame is consistent and better quality than the G&G.

Quick and easy side for dinner. I like to marinate them in butter, Parmesan and red pepper flakes to add a bit of flavor. As long as you haven’t gone too long in the freezer they are fresh and snappy

Great substitute for restaurant style edamame
Every time I go out to Japanese restaurants, I always order edamame. This is a good substitute when I’m at home and want a healthy, high protein, nutritious snack very easy to prepare in the microwave and I can add any seasonings. I want to mix it up.

Pretty good edamame. Easy to heat in the package, and it comes out fresh tasting with firm soybeans. I add a drizzle of olive oil and toss with some garlic herb seasoning. Delicious snack!

Disliked the pod.
I wasn’t a fan of the beans being in the pod neither was my husband or son. It was a hassle opening each pod and getting the beans out. If you don’t like eating the pod or want to add the beans to a poke bowl quickly I wouldn’t recommend these. But, it’s all up to your preference.

Delicious when not steamed
I usually eat the Trader Joes frozen edamame because its so much better than the steamed ones, however, they have been out of stock. I tried this bag and cooked it like i do the TJS brand (in a bowl in the microwave, 50% power for 3 min increments) and it was very good! Not soggy at all. I just made sure to tranfer the edamame to a fresh plate after cooking so it wasn't sitting in the water that pools at the bottom. Top with crushed sea salt, S&B Nanami Togarashi seasoning, and dip in Sriracha. YUMMMMM!!!!

Love it!
It’s so easy to heat up in the microwave and it tastes great! I eat it with a bit of soy sauce and a sprinkle of salt (sometimes) and it’s a great side with Asian food like dumplings!

WORM
THERE WAS A WORM INSIDE IT!! straight up looked like a maggot. apparently it’s not uncommon (soybean podworm) but i don’t think i can ever eat shelled edamame ever again. this can apparently happen in ANY frozen, shelled edamame, so it’s not necessarily this product’s or manufacturer’s fault, but people need to know.
