Crappy warranty , and product faking apart after 2
I bought this uni2 about 2 years ago and the inside of the vac tube is breaking apart where it attaches to unit, and the backpack bag broke apart after seam. Very poor quality, and I am not optimistic those parts are even warranted by Black and Decker as they may constitute “accesorie” but let’s see if Black and Decker surprises me and and replaces them under warranty to stand up behind d theirboroducts - I can’t believe a reputable company would write such a crappy warranty unless they are producing junk they don’t intend to lastZ

Would Not Turn On! Bought in April 2025 and the motor gave up just the other day (September 2025). Thought we had an issue with the extension cord. Nope - two cords later we diagnosed this as a motor failure. Need some help replacing it.

Handy outdoor vacuum
I'm test trialing this device out. I look for longevity in tools. Some only last a year for me as I use them quite often and hard on them as an eco friendly landscaper. I can say that it worked well across the board with lawn, gravel, stones and concrete, but became loud and clunky when it sucked up the wood mulch unintentionally. Over all at this moment I'd give it 5 stars and the easy open and close reusable bag / backpack is great to empty into the green bin easily. I've got three slipped disks in my back so convenience is paramount for avoiding back breaking work. In theory, it should also cut down on or eliminate the harboring of plant diseases as well. (I bought it solely for vacuuming dry leaf debris only, with the backpack)

Ran for 2 seasons ..then …
Worked great for 2 seasons of removing my leaves then quit and would not run . Must be some design flaw .Disappointed to say the least. Usually black n decker out of quality products..

Fifteen years later I bought another one
Bought one of these fifteen years ago, bought another one recently because of the backpack bag design. The new one works even better. This thing mulches like a beast and rarely gets clogged. Emptying the bag is easier than the other bag design by far. I use my older one strictly as a blower now but can always use it as a backup if need be. I had a cordless Ryobi mulcher which was heavy, got clogged and shutdown often. This one is by far superior, though not cordless, but works reliably.

Stopped running after two seasons
I bought this 5 years ago and it ran for two seasons. It had been working ok and I emptied the bag, came back and it wouldn't start. I verified power, it just wasn't going to run. What was I thinking, I bought another one and it worked for another two seasons then this one stopped just like the first. I emptied the bag, came back and it would run. I will not be buying another one.

Not sure yet.
It works pretty well. The directions were a bit harder to interpret. It took a bit to figure how to get the vacuum together. The bag seems small and fills quickly. I’m going to look for a way to connect to trash cans. I think I should’ve just got the Worx.

Doesn't Turn On
I was really excited to use the vac/mulch feature, main reason for the purchase 2 years ago but went to use it today to do leaves and it won't turn on. This would've been my 3rd time using since purchased. I Tried different outlets/cords, google and troubleshooted of course nothing worked.

Don’t by corded one!
As far as what it is, I suppose it’s fine but I hate it because it won’t stay plugged in. I really wish I would’ve bought the one that had a battery.

Poor quality collection hose
The blower vac works just as well as my 2 previous machines. The hose, however wore through after one use. I am very disappointed in the collection kit

Nice in theory but doesn’t last
I was excited to purchase this item to help me out this season as I am surrounded by trees between me and neighbors. However, I became quickly disappointed and annoyed with the functionality of this product. After about 25min the bag dettached itself from the blower. When I looked, the tubing had literally come undone and was unable to be put back together, therefore I was unable to attach the bag back to the blower/vaacuum.

Poorly design bag
My only complaint about this product is the integrity of the bag! They ripped way too easy and I am having to safety pin the holes/rips up and/or the zipper stops working! I went on this site to see if I could get a replacement bag., but after reading the other reviews, it appears not! I find it frustrating that you can’t get replacement parts, like the bag! My second bag didn’t last two seasons and that isn’t right!! I will have to take my business else where if I can’t get the bag replaced!
