Blistex DCT Lip Balm, 0.25 Oz, CASE OF 12

Why would you remove sun protection and make the change so subtle? I recently used my trusty DCT on a bot trip, only for my lips to become extremely swollen and blistered from the sun. I did not initially see that sun protectant was removed! Why would you do such a thing? SPF is so important and the original formula has been loved by many for years and years. I have been using DCT since I was small, genuinely from my first year of primary school. This has always been a product with a good reputation, perfect for hot climates, beach days and general daily wear. You have ruined the product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a lip balm/treatment fiend so I was so excited to add this one to my arsenal. It’s in a pot so it’s not great for throwing in my purse but it’s perfect for a spot on my bedside table. It has that very classic Blistex smell that’s a little medicinal but not unpleasant with a touch of cocoa butter scent and it’s a very emollient, thick balm that actually stays on my lips for longer than a few minutes. It tingles a little (probably from the camphor and menthol) but it’s not too thick or goopy. It’s quite lightweight and I’ve used it to prime my lips in the morning while getting ready and it’s never caused me any issues. It’s smooth without being greasy and I’m excited to see how it stacks up against the cold weather coming up in the next few months. Overall, I think it’s a great product but I definitely want to test it when my lips really need it to see how it compares. I docked a star for the scent because sometimes it can be a bit intense for people sensitive to smells. Despite that, I’ve enjoyed this so far! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im usually not a fan of lip balms that I have to use my fingers to apply as I find them not too hygienic, however the way this one leaves my lips sorta makes up for that. My lips dry up pretty quickly and I have to reapply but thats with most lip balms, this one does its job just fine.

I am gutted that I can no longer find Blistex DCT containing SPF. This product is the only product that helps me keep cold sores at bay, and I find sun brings them on, hence why I loved the product (when it contained the SPF). Now that there is no SPF in this daily lip protectant, there is no protection at all, and no longer serves a purpose for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is small that it fits in my purse or even in my pocket. Opening it is easy as it twists. The scent is very strong and overpowering at times. It does help with dryness and look forward to using it this winter.

This really works. It goes on so smooth and creamy. Despite its petroleum appearance it is not greasy. It doesn't seem to just sit on your lips but penetrates to really cure the problem instead of just a temporary fix.

My lips are super dry living in Colorado and this is a thinner product, super moisturizing, feels tingly and soft. The smell is delish. Packaging is easy to open. It has a slight medicinal smell and a cooling effect once on the lips. Comes in a pot, apply with finger. This would be good if you have chapped dry lips, would soothe immediately.

A slight tingling effect almost like a lip plumper. I use at night and wake up with moistured lips. I'll be honest, it doesn't have the best taste (what actual seriously moisturizing lip product does) but it does what it says it'll do.

I have extremely dry lips usually use another brand in a container similar to this. My lips were moisturized and smooth and i only reapplied it reice throughout the day. like the size and shape as it is easy to put in my purse or pocket. I didn't detect any particular scent which is good since because the last thing I want is a scent that stinks. Im definitely going to keep this in my beauty regime for all four seasons!
