Would be better in a squeeze tube
Have used this for years and haven’t found anything better. Only complaint is that a pot is messy and inconvenient. Having a tube option would be amazing. The cherry squeeze tubes are not the same formula and it’s not a great product.

Great for dry, cracked lips and cold sores.
I came across this at a retailer. I have the tube form, and I bought the jar. When I got home, I opened it, and applied it right on a cold sore, and used it. I didn't need a lot of product. A little went a long way. The next day, my cold sore dried out, and is healing. I will be buying this instead of my go-to. I will be keeping this around from now on.

Great cooling effect, smooth and full of moisture.
I’ve been using Blistex for close to 8 years now and it’s been working so well for me, hence I still use it till today. I have contact cheilitis which means I have an allergic reaction to lip balms/lip sticks or rather anything with allergens that trigger my lips to itch, swell and become chapped. Blistex Medex is the only lip therapy that works for me and no matter how expensive it is, I cannot live without it.

i've kept a container of Lip Medex in my pocket since 1990, i buy it by the 12pk case, i absolutely love the stuff, i fish 4-5 days a week, ride my motorcycle daily and am always out in the sun/wind so lips tend to dry and crack if you don't keep them moisturized. i absolutely love Lip Medex and have never had a single complaint with it, but i have on a few occasions when out in the Gulf of America fishign all day in blistering sun and 25+ knot winds gotten sunburn on my lower lip. i'm not sure what the below reviews are that claim it's changed or has a bad smell, it's the same as it's always been.

I really love this product it moisturizes my lips really well and it keeps moisture locked in. I do think that you need to change the scent up a little bit though.

There's a reason they're still selling it after 40 years!
I've tried a lot of lip balms in my life, but nothing quite compares to this. Dry, cracked lips feel better IMMEDIATELY, and it lasts a lot longer than competitors. Now I buy it in bulk so I never run out!

I use it on dry Alopecia Areata spots, and it helps A LOT
When Alopecia Areata starts to grow out, the scalp sometimes gets really dry and tight. I know this is not what blister is for, but it really helps.

Not full
I bought this blistex and have been using it a lot. When I got half way through the blistex I was using my lip balm applier thing and when I was going to get more the brush/applier pushed straight to the bottom. There was a big hole of air which was supposed to be more blistex I got ripped off

Savior for anyone on accutane
I’m on my second round of accutane and the lip dryness is no joke. I was using aquaphor, then cerave healing ointment, they worked okay but not enough. This medex is a savior and I 100% recommend to anyone with severe dryness

Love it
I’ve been using this lip balm for a while and my friends always ask if I have it on me so they can borrow some. Works miracles in cold and dry weather and helps so much when I get sunburn on my lips. Absolutely love it! The flavor is a bit off putting but the effects are totally worth it
