Q: Are these designed to inhibit bacterial growth while in the dispenser before it’s used? Should you use distilled water to activate rather than tap water?

  • A: Distilled water is not required! We tested all different kinds of tap water across the US with our cleaners to account for differences across homes. We’ve tested all of our products with water hardness up to 400ppm and no difference was seen in quality.

  • A: While our Foaming Hand Soap tablets are specifically designed for use with our foaming hand soap pump, the tablets can be used with other foaming soap dispensers, as well as non-foaming dispensers! Please note that as not all pumps are the same, the soap might come out thin and watery when used with a different foaming soap dispenser but this does not affect the product’s efficacy and it will still be safe to use!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Remember, it’s better to be imperfect than to not try at all, and one easy way to start is by using these soap tabs! I’ve always preferred the texture of foaming vs gel soaps but hated how often I’d have to buy new containers. Instead, I keep the container and just refill it with these tabs! Couldn’t be easier and get smell great! I use them in the kitchen and both bathrooms.

    Gentle on hands

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have eczema and these don't irritate my skin. The scent is also very gentle. The tabs take a little longer to dissolve than expected so we start the refill a little early in a separate container and then pour into our dispenser.

    Hand soap

I wish the dispensers were an easier to push since sometimes it’s hard for my little to pump and the handle can get stuck but they have been kind enough to replace mine whenever that happens.

    I have always had dry skin and am prone to eczema. These do not irritate my skin and they're a great way to reduce plastic use. Just plop a tablet in a bottle you already have, add some water, and voila! You've saved money and the planet!

    Yay!! No more plastic!

    I love that I can plop one of these great smelling soap tablets into water & not have to deal with plastic bottles anymore. Also, Blueland's glass bottle & pump are sturdy & work great. I've a 2nd stainless foaming soap pump that fits a wide mouth mason jar that looks great but the pump is disappointing. Blueland wins:)

    Easy to use, smells great!

    I love these soap tablets, and my family members find them really easy to use and store. Because I am fortunate enough to live near a physical "zero-waste" store, I may be switching away from these to my local store's in-person refillable option. However, without having a store like that nearby - these BlueLand hand soap tablets are the best!

    Tablets Yes, Pumps No

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s hard to review these soap tablets, because while the soap works fine for daily non-intensive hand washing, even the newest version of pumps have issues, which makes the soap ineffective if you can’t get it out. Also, the ingredients here are so basic (which is great!) that it seems ridiculous to pay such a high price. I switched back to my green-clean gel soap and add water because it lasts so much longer—tacky, but it’s the truth. I believe in being eco-friendly, but to better the world, not turn a profit. If the tablets are truly that expensive to make, I’d recommend changing something. (And don’t forget the pumps too.)

    Lovely smells

    I have been using these for a couple of years now. They are perfect for refilling my hand soap bottles. They don't come out super bubbly or slimy like other hand soaps, but they do the job just fine, and the fragrance level is just right. No more plastic hand soap bottles!
