Q: Are all your products wild caught fish?

A: Hi Darlene! All of the fish we use in our dry kibble recipes are wild caught and certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). The fish we use for our Omega 3 Fish oil is also wild caught. The fish we use for our Food Toppers is made with fish that are wild caught and farm raised. Cat didn't care for it
The product smelled fine. The cat didn't even want to try it. I would say our cat is probably more pickier than other cats, so might not be the product's fault the cat didn't like the food. Unfortunately, attempted more than once to test the cat's interest and no dice.

Keeps the cat hydrated
One of our cats prefers dry food over wet while the other is complete opposite. We add this topper to dry food every now and again to keep him hydrated, we also add a few drops of omega 3 oil to keep their fur healthy and shiny.

Real fish
Had high hopes as main ingredient is real fish with vitamins and little fillers but the world’s pickiest cat just sniffed and walked away. Baby likes only one brand of real fish food which is impossible to find anymore so I was on a substitute search. I liked the pouch container which would keep partial portions fresher than a can. For those 2 reasons I think its good food for most cats.

My strays wont eat it!
I have some stray ferrel cats I feed. Put this on the food and the cats avoided it. I can put anything out and they eat it happily. Not sure why but the cats just won’t eat it. The are the dry food from around it, but not this cat food “topping”.

My Dog is obsessed
As you can see, Rico goes crazy for this stuff lol. I love that this is an inexpensive way to get my dogs to start eating their dry food and that it has a simple ingredient list with high omega 3 content to help with their skin, coat, and joints. Will continue to purchase!

Pup loved it
My pup is a really picky eater and also a sensitive stomach. I put the cod and trout flavor on his food and he devoured it with no upset stomach or other issues. Would highly recommend for any pup but if you have a picky eater I would definitely try it out. The nutrients come from fish which helps support coat, joints etc.

Try it out with the trial size pack
I like that it comes in a small trial package to try out to see if your furry friends will like it or not. I agree the package has a lot so it is a one time use plus messy to open. They can be given as a wet food for the cats or mixed with the kibble for dogs. But be warned it has a very strong fish smell.

My cat absolutely loved cod and trout food. I like that it’s 95% fish and good for both cats and dogs. It is a bit smelly and messy but my cat help with licking up the food from the floor. It was swallowed up within minutes

Little guy loved it!
I was pleasantly surprised with this wet food. My cat is extremely picky when it comes to wet food but didn’t hesitate to inhale what I put in his bowl. I love that it is for both dogs and cats and the price is great.

Great Nutritious Option for Cats and Dogs
Great option to add nutrition to your pet's meal. I got this to try for my dog and cat since the package said it could be used for either. I was pleasantly surprised that they both enjoyed it. The fish looked and smelled fresh compared to so many other pet food options. There was enough for them to both have some with their regular food for several meals. I highly recommend this product.

Wild Topper
My older cat was quick to gobble up the Cod and Trout Food Topper, 2.46 ounce Pouch as soon as I put it on top of her regular food. I could tell that she was interested when I tore open the package and her eyes grew wide and she started licking her lips.

Dog approved!
My dog would have given this a 5 star review too if he could review it himself. He absolutely loved it so much that he waited and refused to eat his dry food without it for a few servings after we already ran out of the food topper. He would tap his food bowl and nudge me to add it. That can be good or bad. I liked the look of the packaging design but it could be even better if it were resealable since I have a small dog and we got several servings out of that one pouch.
