Our new favorite soup mix

I bought this the other day and it's now my new favorite. It makes several meals and lasts a good while. I cook it in the pressure cooker and use two cups of the bean mix and add a veggie mix and some diced tomatoes and it's so good and high in fiber. I wish more stores carried this. I've had 15 beans soup before and it's okay but this selection of beans and lentils is very flavorful.

I made the 13 bean chili. My daughter made minestrone soup. So good and filling. Served hili over brown rice and added some shredded cheddar on top.

This soup mix is very tasty and it makes a great hearty bean soup. However, the package states that it contains 29 ounces, yet when I weighed the contents it was only 13.7 ounces. That leaves 1 pound, equal to 16 ounces, that is missing. It's too big a mistake not to have been noticed before. Where is the missing pound?

I bought this mix because it was on special at my local Safeway. I tried it twice, both times in the crock pot, and was pleased with the results. It made for a hearty soup which was easily built upon. The fact that you supply your own spices as desired, lets you decide the flavour of your soup. A nice mix of different beans was a plus.
Love it but have question about serving size / calories / protein

Love it, made it with Imagine veggie broth, carrots, celery and onions. and added some barley. A little salt. Question: Confused about nutrition facts though, calories/protein for 1/4 cup. I think you mean dry, correct? So with liquid it blows up to about 3/4 of a cup to a whole cup. And this would be 200 cal and 12 g protein. Correct? Not bad, not bad at all. I can easily eat 2 - 3 cups.

This mix is incredible!!! I always cook it in vegetable broth and add bay leaves and spices to for a little added flavor. It's perfect by itself or as a base. If you're going camping, I highly recommend this! Put in a pan over the campfire and presto! Perfect camp meal high in protein

I made a bean soup with this blend and it was good. It made a lot so I froze some for later. Glad I purchased them.

Received my order just before a snow storm. My husband was delighted to have a bowl of soup waiting for him when he came in from clearing snow. I am pleased that the instructions allowed me to customize the additional ingredients as well as the amount that I wanted to make so that I wouldn’t have to worry about freezing leftovers.

The 13 Bean Soup mix is a must have staple for any pantry. This is good for lunch or dinner, with or without meat. The recipes on the different soup mixes are a nice change and provide great ideas for different ways to fix bean soup. I always buy this by the case.

I make a pot of these beans every Sunday for my fiber throughout the week which is a must since I'm diabetic. I love trying different ways to cook it. This week I made a Coconut Curry version of this bean soup and added cabbage, onion, yellow pepper, and garlic to the mix sooo good.

I could cry I love this soup so much! I am 55 and have never made bean soup in my life, and last night I used 3 cups of the beans; about 12 cups of a mix of chicken and vegetable broth; a few carrots; onions; and celery; and a bit of seasoning and the soup was one of the most delicious soups I have ever tasted. On first bite it became my new favorite soup! My body thanked me as well! So delicious! I will be making this at least once a week! Rock on Bob’s Red Mill! Thank you for putting out such quality products… AMAZING.

I just got the 13 bean soup mix. I can’t wait to try it. I’ll probably use my own yummy recipe without meat but I might add some chicken thigh bones. Lots of veggies. Yum. Right now I’m wrapping presents!
Good except lentils

I really like the variety of dried beans in the soup mix but the lentils dissolve and make the soup "muddy" and thick and unappealing. I personally, will not buy a mixture from anyone if it includes lentils as I want soup with broth and the beans.

Amazing just added fresh parsley, thyme, and some beef bone broth with PH water. Topped it with nutritional yeast and fresh parsley. Toddler approved too!!!

Added the beans, carrots, leeks, celery, kale, and brown rice to a fresh turkey stock for a flavorful, hearty soup. The beans have a good combination of varying texture and taste.

I sauteed some onion and bacon, added the pre-soaked bean mix, water, and a small can of tomatoes, and cooked it in my Instant Pot. When the pressure released I added spinach. Simple and delicious!
