Q: Hi, do you offer a single cup stainless steel filter?
A: Thank you for your question! At this time, we don’t offer a single-cup stainless steel replacement pour-over filter, but we recommend checking out our 4-cup pour-over coffee makers instead - since a Bodum cup equals about 4 oz, this size is great for brewing a full 10–12 oz mug with a little extra. Hope this helps!

Q: Hello - Does this coffee filter have any plastic or silicone in the construction of it? If so, where is it located in the filter? Thank you!
A: Thank you for your question! Our reusable filters are made entirely of premium stainless steel, so your coffee never comes into contact with any plastic or silicone. For stability and ease of use, the filter includes a rubberized rim to help prevent slipping and to protect your hands when lifting it out - but rest assured, no hot water or coffee will touch the rubberized portion as long as the filter is not overfilled past the brim. Hope this helps!

Q: In the specifications that says it’s 5.8 inches which is the same size as the 8 cup filter. Both recommend #4 conical filters. They is a $5 difference in price. Is this the same size as the 8 cup filter?
A: Excellent question! No, while the 8-cup and 12-cup filters have the same diameter, the 12-cup filter is deeper (approximately 4 inches, compared to the approximately 3 1/3 inches of the 8-cup filter) to accommodate a larger volume of ground coffee. Hope this helps!

Q: What is the height dimension of this cone? How is this different from the "Bodum 8 cup Pour Over Reusable Steel Coffee Filter" that you sell? The 8 cup is also listed as 5.8" diameter.
A: Thanks for your question! Both filters share the same diameter, but the 12-cup filter is approximately 4 inches deep to accommodate a larger volume of ground coffee, while the 8-cup filter is about 3 1/3 inches deep. Hope this helps!

Q: What type and size of coffee filter would this use, if I want to use it with a paper filter?
A: Thank you for your question! If you would like to use a paper filter with our permanent stainless steel 12-cup Pour Over filter, size #4 conical filters should fit. However, we pride ourselves on the fact that our permanent filters do not need to be used with any single-use papers or plastics, and we cannot guarantee their performance with additional filters, as they may slow extraction and remove some of your coffee’s essential oils, ultimately impacting the flavor.
