Just like the picture, I love that it has the fastener on the straps to keep the bag on. Perfect size for my six-year-old and decent amount of pockets. In the larger pocket, it also has a divider which is always nice for organizing looseleaf papers.

I wanted to love this bag for my older two sons, 11 & 8 but it’s a bit tiny so I only bought it for my 5 year old. He loves it, it is the perfect size and he will be using it for kindergarten! 😇

Great design and it wasn't too big for my 6 year old. I like that this bag has so many pockets and storage areas, I can see us using this for more than just school related activities. My only complaint was the quality of the stitching. There were a few loose ends and this makes me question how durable this bag will be in the long term.

This bag has been great for travel for my toddler. It is the perfect size to fit on a small child. It holds a lot and has plenty of pockets for organization. The outside of the backpack has two large zippered pockets, and there’s two water bottle holders on each side. The inside has a padded, divided section for his tablet. The straps are thick and comfortable for him to wear. I love that there’s some reflective material on the straps too.

To be honest, we wanted to buy this but did not. Only reason being that I would highly recommend using the more mature designs on the larger size backpacks. My son and I were really disappointed that these more neutral patterns weren’t available on the 17”+ sizes. Please have designers consider this down the road. Otherwise, I’ve always loved the quality of the C&J backpacks, they last for years, with normal cleanup and maintenance.

Great multiuse backpack. This backpack is a good size for kids and has plenty of places to store items. There are two sipper pockets on the front and on the inside of the main compartment, there is a divider at the back. There is a place on the inside the write information about who owns the backpack in case it gets lost. All the zippered pockets have one zipper to open and close the pockets. There are two open side pockets, perfect for carrying a water bottle or compact umbrella. The straps have a nice padding and there is a chest clip the prevent the straps from sliding off. This backpack is great for school or for travel.

Super soft bookbag. Highly recommend this for any child. Built in Pockets are great for school too. This is probably more age appropriate for elementary but certainly can work for middle school. Inside pocket is great too.

This is a great backpack! I personally love the camo print and think it's a great alternative to more childlike characters and prints. All zippers work well and everything feels very durable. There's plenty of compartments and space. We may use this for my son for the school year, or we may use it for travel and outings. I would even carry it personally for hikes and outings.

This book bag is perfect for summer adventures! Dual pockets on each side to hold water bottles or sunscreen. Internal laptop/ipad/tablet pocket to hold electronics. Large storage pocket to hold spare clothes, a few books, and a pencil box. Ideally could hold a small pool towel if needed.

This is a great bag for younger kids. More elementary age vs middle school. Smaller bag to fit smaller kids. My daughter is going to bling this out over the summer before school starts. Has a computer/tablet pocket, 2 zippered front pockets and 2 water bottle side pockets.

This is a great backpack. It has an interior sleeve for a computer or tablet, and plenty of room for other things. For a smaller size, there's a lot of room! Outside, there are 2 separate pockets, so you can use one for pencils and things, and the other for a phone. There are 2 bottle holders, too, so you can either have 2 bottles of water, or put it on the side that's most convenient for you to reach. While it doesn't have a chest strap, the shoulder straps are wide and padded, so it doesn't slip. The size is perfect for a tween! My son is 53" tall for reference.

Cute little bag. It feels awfully cheap made though. I do like how it looks, and really has a nice design, but I'm concerned about the overall longetivity and durability. The zippers feel smooth enough.

My 10 year old loves this. He likes the checkered pattern and smiley face. It comes with side pockets on both sides to hold water bottles. It has adjustable, padded straps. I like the 2 front pockets in the front. Also the name tag inside to label the bag.
