Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

My son liked these jeans, but he would have loved them if they were just a little longer. We purchased his regular size, yet they turned out a bit shorter than his baggy jeans from other brands. When my son sits down, the jeans ride up above his ankles, which he didn’t love. We may try a size up since they are a great value for baggy jeans, though I worry that might make the waist too big. Overall, they’re a good pair of jeans. However, if your child is average height, they may find the length a bit too short.

Odd proportions. Fashionable look.

I was confused by them. They have baggy legs but then the waist is small in proportion and has a gathered waistband. My son did not like these at all. They are definitely a fashion trend. Cute baggy style for boys

I got these in a size 5 for my 5 year old, and while they are a little big, the adjustable waist makes them easy to keep from falling off of him. They are a good length and still give him some room to grow. The medium wash gives them a classic and versitle look that pairs well with many tops. The most comfy and soft baggy jeans for boys

Runs a little big in the waist but the adjustable waistband helps.

My son thought he hated jeans but will actually wear these. The adjustable waistband is a huge help because my son is on the skinny side but needs the length of a bigger size. They look cute on him and good for the days when we need something a little nicer than sweatpants.
