I'm generally vey pleased with Hearth & Hand/Magnolia items but sadly , not with this bookstand, as it only accommodates very thin and short sized cookbooks. The two page marker balls, are hard to keep ourt of sight when not in use which can become a nuisance. If you want to use it as a decor item only, then its fine, but not very practical for its ibtended use.

I love this! It holds pages down well, and is definitely more stylish than the canned goods I used to use to hold pages down.

I just love this item!!! it’s made very well and I love the brass finish. He is it from my daily calendar. and a notebook as I need it. I no longer have to look around to find them. I can just glance up and they’re right there. Very versatile for different uses. I love the weighted balls to hold the pages in place . Clever. I’m starting to mix metals as a design change. The width of the ledge is too narrow to hold a large cookbook when it’s open. Also it’s short so my cookbook was much too large for this size holder. I’m going to be returning.

This is not a bad looking, functional stand. The problem is the bottom that sits on the counter. It is very sharp metal and would scratch the counter terribly. I will be returning.

This is a very attractive cookbook holder; the weighted chains are handy for keeping a page and can also be used as temporary bookmarks. I like that the holder folds for storage. I ordered online and despite being shipped with absolutely no protection aside from the shipping box, it arrived unscathed.
