Braun MultiQuick 5 Vario Hand Blender 50202

Made a smoothie out of the box…chunks of ginger and frozen fruits pulverized in half a minute. No need for a beast blender. This is so easy!

The blender, food processor and whisk attachments all work really well. I especially love the food processor, so handy. It would be great if the blender had some kind of non scratch protective attachment. The unit is a but on the heavier side as well.

Honestly, I’m not huge on cooking or whatever, but this has been an absolute dream for a novice cook like me!!! Super easy to use, great power, and it hasn’t been a mess to clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions: The handheld motor portion feels nice, has a matte rubberized finish with some texture and has an ergonomic shape. It’s noticeably heavier than the one I had previously. I like that the food processor attachment can actually be washed, lid and all, unlike the one that I owned previously which (in barely noticeable fine print) “should not be submerged,” despite not containing anything electrical. (Update: upon further inspection, the little plastic stem on the food processor blade is hollow, but only open on one end, so bits of food easily get inside, but there’s no easy way to clean it out…didn’t notice this till after it was washed and I was about to use it again. I won’t be able to use the chopper again till I can find a way to clean that part :/ ). It was able to purée raw ginger really quickly (didn’t adjust any settings, just used “turbo” button), with no chunks, or long fibers left behind. The lid kinda locks in place without taking much effort to open and add ingredients, so that’s also a plus, since there’s no hole at the top or food pusher. Less pieces to wash, or potentially misplace. If the other end of the chopper blade stem came off to use a straw cleaner to clean the inside it would be five stars so far.

I was offered this immersion/stick blender in exchange for my honest review, and I have to say it blows our old one out of the water. I love that it has a variety of attachments, especially the mini food processor/chopper. We are now able to get rid of our old immersion blender, along with a mini food processor, and keep it all in one. While it’s never going to replace a full size food processor, or blender I have to say I’m extremely happy with the versatility of this item, and how easily all of the parts come apart for cleaning.

It blends smoothly and feels durable, which I appreciate. The only thing I’d change is the size of the bowl; it’s a bit small for my needs. If it were just a bit larger, it would be perfect. I have a few pasta sauces I make and being able to use this and blend them right in the pot is a game changer. The attachment for the blender also makes baby food super easy to make as well.

I have another immersion blender and clearly didn’t know what I was missing until I got this one. It is so easy, the blender cup is perfect to use to ensure full blend of all ingredients, and the added attachments are a huge plus. I have used this multiple times for all different types of food. The power is amazing and so nice you can adjust the settings, my other was on/off. I can’t speak to the longevity obviously but it feels sturdy and does a great job

My other food processor is very large and bulky so this one is so handy for doing smaller quantities! I am very satisfied!!

The stick blender attachment works really well for making homemade mayonnaise and the chopper is great for sauces like pesto. The motor is not very loud despite being fairly powerful. The adjustable speed is really nice as our previous chopper only had one setting. Overall this is a great kitchen tool!
