RG-58/U with Mini-UHF male installed is the ideal choice for NMO mounting. Materials utilized such as a solid brass chrome-plated NMO and gold-plated contact pin facilitate stronger connection. The 17-ft. RG-58/U low-loss precision communications RF coax cable with bare copper braid 95% shield, solid insulation, and solid copper center conductor supports clear communication and flexible mounting locations on the vehicle. This mount comes with a precision Mini-UHF male connector already installed to assist in the ease of installation and a soft rubber boot on the magnet for scratch protection._
