Q: I also give my dog Dasuquin with MSM for joints every day. Is it ok to also give the Buddy Biscuits Hip & Joint Booster Chews.

A: Hi! We do recommend consulting in your vet to make sure you are giving the appropriate amount of glucosamine and chondroitin for your dogs needs. Each treat has 50mg of glucosamine and 15mg of chondroitin. We recommend 2 treats a day for a dog 27-54lbs. These instructions do take into consideration there could be other sources of glucosamine and chondroitin in their diet, so it is not a full daily supplement.

Depending on your dog's weight, you can give them 1-4 treats a day. 5-10lbs, 1 treat. 11-20 lbs, 1-2 treats. 21-80 lbs, 1-3 treats. 81+ lbs, 1-4 treats per day. Overall, you'll want to start small and can increase over time. Your dog will love these treats because they support healthy hip & joint functionality, made with simple ingredients, and only contain 7 ingredients per treat!
