Truly cannot express how awesome this game is. I never played Tecmo bowl but I know all about it from my brother and husband. As soon as my husband opened it, we had to play immediately. As someone who only has nostalgia for the graphic style, I still had a great time playing. As a football enthusiast, my husband was blown away at how they were able to capture the feel of tecmo bowl while also making for a fun game with some luck and some strategy. I immediately purchased it for my brother and plan to gift it to all the men in my life who played the video game. Cannot say enough good stuff!

Really fun adaptation of the classic NES game!
Really fun adaptation of the classic NES game, truly captures the feeling and 8-bit aesthetic of the game; whoever designed this definitely put their heart into it and did their research. There are a few unclear rules, but if you understand football the designer's intention is obvious, so you'll figure it out (or find a house rule and stick to it). Still, could be a little more clear and comprehensive. An official'How To Play' video would be fantastic. We've already gotten our money's worth. My wife and I love 2-player only games, and this one is now part of our line-up. I'll be grabbing some extra copies of this to give as gifts. Fast, fun, thematic... what more can you ask for? This was a surprise hidden gem that panders to my Gen X nostalgia with charming art and nice components. Oh yeah, I'd rather have engraved dice, but for the price it's hard to complain.
