Bumble and bumble Bond-Building Repair Shampoo - 8.5 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

I found since starting this process that more and more hair is falling out when I brush it or just when washing it in the shower. after brushing if find at least 20 strands of hair on the ground which was never an issue before I just got my hair cut, so it isn't due to it not being trimmed.

I have overall decently healthy semi-permanent purple hair. I baby it. I decided to try this, and this shampoo is SO drying and so much of my purple went down the shower drain. I have tried it a couple times just to make sure it wasn't my error of using too much. I tried my other shampoos in between to make sure it wasn't just my hair dye. No, this shampoo just is too harsh. I'm returning it. There are better, more affordable still salon quality shampoos.

I was really excited to try the Bumble and Bumble Bond-Building Repair Shampoo, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Instead of leaving my hair smooth and nourished, it actually made my hair feel fuzzy and frizzy. It didn't seem to hydrate or repair my strands the way I had hoped. My hair was left looking a bit puffy and unmanageable, which is disappointing for a product that's supposed to be about repairing and strengthening. I really wanted to love it, but it just didn't live up to the hype for me. Definitely won't be repurchasing!

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled. I have very long, thick, curly on the bottom and straight on top hair. My scalp used to be constantly itchy and dry. Since using this line, my scalp has never felt better and the itching is permanently gone. This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner of all time, so rich and smells amazing. Worth the price.

I'm bummed! I never write reviews but came here to share that I have dandruff for the first time in my life after using this specific shampoo (confirmed it is the shampoo - I stopped using for a week and the problem subsided). I have had great luck with other B&B products but unfortunately this one is not it. Curious if anyone else has had this problem and if so, what ingredient in the shampoo might be the cause?

It used to feel like I didn't need to blow dry my hair after washing, but that formula is long gone.

I have a feeling that the company tweaked the formula because it's not the same as when I first used it years ago.

This shampoo and conditioner use to be my HOLY GRAIL! And now I cant use it anymore. Going from someone that use to LOVE this shampoo and recommending it to so many people. To now being so disappointed for many reasons. Im not sure what they did to switch it up, but it doesnt seem the same. It now makes my scalp itch (causing little pimples), causes me to have build up, makes my hair greasy, and is falling out like crazy (especially after the conditioner step). Now I will have to return all the products and look for something else!!! Ugh

I have used this product for a little over six months, and feel confident in my concerns and reasoning for discontinuing use permanently. Just a little information about myself, I used both the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is dyed (professionally at a salon and always wait a minimum of 6 months for another appointment. I stick to "natural colors"). I wash my hair every two to three days in cold to luke warm water, and followed the instructions for use of both products exactly, from the amount used to the time left in/on my head. I have medium to borderline-long hair of medium thickness and get a trim religiously every four weeks. I use a conditioning mask every two weeks. I do not use heat to dry my hair, I do not use styling tools, and I do not use any styling products, including creams, sprays, serums, or any product of the like. Upon initial use, I noticed my hair felt stiffer and more frequent split ends, but I assumed that it was just a result of me switching to a product that had fewer chemicals in it. Fast forward 6+ months later, and my hair is thin, straw-like, my split ends are uncontrollable, my hair becomes dirty/grunge-like only after one day, and quality-wise looks and feels like I over-processed my head in pure alcohol and bleach. I also have red, painful patches all over my scalp (I am not allergic to any of the ingredients). After having a discussion with my hairdresser and ruling out every other possibility (I even had labs ran by my pcp and everything came back clear), we have come to the conclusion that B&B Bonding shampoo and conditioner has not only completely destroyed my hair from root to tip but have also done a number on my scalp, which is now dry, itchy, has sores and scabs, and is an eyesore. This product not only destroyed my hair but also my self-confidence, as my hair has ALWAYS been my pride and joy. I do not recommend this product and hope to save someone else a very expensive and emotional lesson!

Its a bit pricey however, worth it. I have processed, frizzy and wavy hair. It gets very dry at times. This left my hair hydrated and shiny. I could instantly feel it working while I was lathering it on my hair. This is my new go too!

Ive been using this line of products for about a year and a half and I have seen such a difference in my hair, I love it! Its shiny, smooth and healthy!

I've used several B&B products without issue but this one left my hair dry, damaged and falling out. Even my stylist made a point to tell me my hair felt very dry and was thinner than it was when I saw her 6 weeks ago. Returned it immediately.

I've used this several times and noticed my hair has been looking thinner and the texture doesn't feel the same. It made my hair dry and thin. Will be returning and going back to my Kerastase shampoo

Had high hopes for the BB Repair Shampoo but could not get over the residue/waxy feeling it leaves on the hair. It leaves a residue to the point where I could feel the parts of my hair I washed with shampoo vs conditioner. Leaves a weird pulling feeling at the root. Hair is oily by the next day. This smooths out any flyaways you may have and definitely helps frizz....for a short time. By the next day after styling, the top of my hair got frizzy. Has some ingredients that may not be the best for sensitive scalps, so would caution people who are easily sensitized to keep that in mind. May work better for other hair types/needs. Wasn't impressive for me.

I've been doing hair professionally for about 5 years and have tried lots of different repair routines and haven't found any that REALLY worked for my hair(drugstore OR expensive). This shampoo paired with the conditioner blew me away! First wash, there was a noticeable difference in my hair's feel and overall health: it was shiny, soft, didn't feel scraggly at the ends. Absolutely astounded. I've been using it for a while now and I won't be going back!! Invest in your hair and get these!!

Bought this shampoo to try it and I am so glad that I did. Made my hair so sleek and smooth, and the smell is wonderful. Lasted for a couple of days after washing!

Terrible experience! I had to return it. Not sure why it didn't work for me but it did not moisturize my hair at all. It left my scalp and hair feeling oily and greasy. And in addition to this, it made the product buildup on my scalp, causing me to get painful scalp pimples. This really did nothing for me, and honestly made my frizzy dry hair even worse when I really think about it.

I could not get past the smell to try this unfortunately. To me, it smelled like Vanilla-Amber Musk. Too much fragrance and not what I want my hair to smell like.
