Description
This salt spray adds volume, body, and texture for matte, beachy waves (year-round).
How to Use: Spray evenly onto damp or dry hair. Squeeze and twist strands to enhance texture. Air-dry for a matte, windswept look.
Pro-tip: To add polish, use a brush to blow-dry the hair smooth. For a windswept look, use your fingers to style and blow dry.
Key Ingredients:Ascophyllum Nudosum (Seaweed) Extract: Extracted from naturally occurring seaweed; softens and smooths skin and moisturizes hair, increasing its elasticity, luster, and softness; helps decrease hair’s static charge, thus giving more body and less flyaways.

I love using this product for my wavy hair! It is easy to use - just spritz your hair. I use this in conjunction with Bb Don't blow it air dry styler.

This product was not for me, but it would be unfair to fault the product. On the plus side, if you're looking for a salt matte finish and air-dried style, with light hold for texture, you might like this spray. The product is lovely, with a great scent (I love the smell of the Surf line), and would pair nicely with the rest of the Surf line. Good for refreshing styles on second and third days. Also, this spray and the Surf Infusion are a good value because a few spritzes, (depending on your preference), go a long way. The bottles really last.

I Am Disappointed

I'm really disappointed in this product, I was hoping that something more high-end would work. I have very fine, straight hair and I was hoping that this may add just a little bit of volume. No such luck, it didn't work. And it doesn't smell great. The only reason why I didn't give it 1 star is because it did seem to make my hair a little softer, but it doesn't do it's job.

I was looking for something to give my fine hair some extra texture in order to hold styles better. This is great! It's not nearly as sticky and crunchy as other salt sprays and a little goes a long way. I use this before blow drying and it gives my hair nice texture and a piece-y look

I have long, straight, normal (not oily but not dry) hair and this product did not work for me. It made my hair really crusty and didn't really leave any effect on my hair (make it wavy).

I originally tried this item not too long ago. I had ordered a bottle from another online site called BxxxxBxxxd. The formulation of the sea salt spray was okay; unfortunately the dispensing bottle was a trigger spray bottle. I found it very difficult to dispense in a consistent manner and usually ended up with far too much liquid on my hair. I just happened to be reading through the reviews of this company's spray when I came across one that mentioned the superiority the Bumble to Bumble sea salt spray. It's more expensive, however, I decided to order a bottle. I wasn't disappointed as the Bumble and Bumble bottle dispenses the spray in a mist. This makes for application of the product very easy and consistent over one's entire head. So, long story short I have decided to stick with this brand going forward. It's a great product.

This product made my hair hard and frizzy it didn't give me the effect that was suppose to. My hair is dry as it is and by using this it made it worse. I won't recommend this product to no one .

So the product isn't bad but it's certainly not worth the price. You can get cheaper that does the same thing.

I use this product on just dried/very slightly damp hair. I spray it on, swoosh it around a little with my fingers, crunch it just a little and I'm good to go! I love the little wave it gives and the extra body in my hair. Super fast and easy!

This product was recommended by an Ulta member after I mentioned I was looking for something to protect and hold a curl. I lightly spray this on my dry hair before using a hot iron. It leaves my hair soft and helps hold the shape.

I have curly just passing the shoulder hair, I wouldent recommend thinking this product would give you the same effect as if you stepped out of the ocean. Left my curly to crunchy, very rigid and just messy looking. I did try using the whole bottle on many occasions and used it differently to experiment but its a hard no for me. Even when i did straighten the hair and waved it with a wave iron.. i need a product that would leave it softer.

I like the surf spray. Would I buy it over and over again? Meh, I’d probably try some different brands. I spray on while my hair is still damp. When it’s on the dry side and you spray, it gets tacky and gross feeling. It’s a fairly good beach bummy look.

I have really fine hair and this product is magic ! Gives my hair just the body it needs. There's no product feel or look in your hair. It just makes your hair have body - so it doesn't fall flat.

I have fine 2B hair (high porosity, medium density, bleached). A good salt spray is KEY to my hair routine because my roots tend to be like sad limp noodles while the rest of my hair waves and curls. My favorite spray was from an indie company that no longer makes it. This is my new favorite. The bottle itself produces a nice, fine mist so it's easy to control the amount going into your hair. The product is very lightweight, so it may not be a good fit for those with thicker strands, but for my hair it's wonderful. The volume I get is subtle and looks natural. I don't notice any odd textures unless I apply it too heavily in one area (this is consistent with other salt sprays I've tried). My only complaint is the price point. This is the most expensive salt spray I've tried and I've been able to get equally good results from indie products at a much lower price. So idk if I can justify purchasing more of this even though I love it.
