Again, because of manufacturing these products adjacent to one another, we cannot recommend these products. Great for CPAP users
I was waking up every morning with ugly painful chapped lips, I think because of my CPAP blowing air over them all night. I started applying this right before bed every night and it solved the problem right away. I’ll never be without it.

I tried this for a couple weeks and it stopped my lips from peeling. I would put it on every night before bed and wipe off in the morning. It made my lips so soft! When I didn’t use it for a couple weeks my lips started to dry and peel during the day again. This really helped! I would definitely recommend!

I must be one of the folks whose skin reacts badly to this because it seems to make my lips worse, instead of better. After using at I have to apply a different brand of lip balm all through the next day because my lips feel sunburnt. Tried it multiple times to make sure it wasn’t something else, and because for $8 I was going to be positive before chucking it.

Great product needs more sustainable packaging.
Nice scent and leaves my lips soft in the morning and I don’t need as much lip balm during the day. Very greasy texture that some might dislike. A little goes a long way, so the pot lasts a long time. The packaging looks more high end than Burt’s Bees usual, but I’m deducting a point because of that packaging. It could easily have been packaged with more sustainable materials, such as aluminum or even a recycled paper jar. Perhaps the container is made with 100% recycled plastic but I doubt it. Burt’s Bees uses plant-based plastic in some of its packaging, but pretending that’s any better than virgin plastic is greenwashing BS. I specifically buy Burt’s Bees almond milk hand cream because it’s packaged in glass with an aluminum lid (it also smells amazing). Burt’s Bees can and should do better.

Not for seriously cracked lips
I have extremely dry lips due to taking glycopyrrolate. I have been using this since Feb 2024, and my lips have been cracking and bleeding every day. This weekend I used my sister's Carmex on a whim. Carmex works so much better. This stuff dries up quickly, it's gone in the morning. Carmex is still there next morning and my lips are way softer. Sometimes the basics really ARE the best.
