I normally buy Bush's Vegetarian Baked Beans; however as there are no animal ingredients in these, I wanted to give them a try. Frankly, there is really very little difference in flavor. We could not taste any hickory; and the vegetarian one's actually seem to be sweeter and tangier, so we are sticking with them. Either way, these are delicious beans, and I highly recommend them. For a change, I sometimes sprinkle McCormick's vegetarian bacon chips atop right before serving. LOVE these with corn on the cob!
