Bush's Dark Red Kidney Beans - 16oz

Things I expect in a can of beans: beans, water, salt, preservatives. Things in these beans: all of that… and sugar. There should not be added sugar in plain canned beans.

This brand is my go to for or Turkey chili. Mix in with peppers, onions, garlic and it’s Delicious every time!

Perfect for Chili! Love adding a few random canned goods to my orders. Never know when you’ll be in the mood for a bowl or Turkey chili. Just pull out of the cabinet rinse and toss in with your ground meat, onion, salsa and tomato juice!

Bush’s really does make the BEST beans !!! :-)

Good value, dark color and good taste.

I liked these Bush’s Light Red Kidney Beans, they are soft and creamy and have a good flavor. I added them to my chili that I “cook” in a slow cooker and they tasted delicious, even my husband that isn’t really someone that like to have whole beans in his food liked these beans, he didn’t pick them out or eat around them. I will be using these in my chili recipe for now on, they have a good texture and they keep their shape even after I had to freeze them and unfreeze them they did not get all mushy, they kept their shape and still tasted great.

Gluten free! Works well for rice and beans.

Fantastic bean would put 2 or 3 beans in my next soups

These beans are good for making chili. I do rinse them out completely before I use them. They cook pretty quickly.

My fault for not reading the label of ingredients. Took one bite and KNEW something was wrong. Checked the label and sure enough, SUGAR was a main ingredient. How unhealthy and sorry, but I do NOT want SWEET kidney beans!!!!!!!
