Book Synopsis
Navigate the complexities of organizational resilience with this leading guide to identifying risk and building an effective business continuity strategy.
Authored by resilience expert James Crask, Business Continuity Management shows how organizations can prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptive events by building effective contingency plans and thereby maintaining their resilience capability. This book details how ISO 22301 should be applied when implementing business continuity strategies, crisis response best practice and how effective business continuity can be delivered, including maintaining the attention of the board, conducting a business impact analysis and writing plans and procedures. This third edition contains new real-world examples, updated discussion on the latest challenges organizations face, including geopolitical risks and supply chain disruptions, and a new chapter focusing on improving the quality of business continuity programmes with AI. With templates and checklists covering crisis management planning, incident response and critical supplier assessment, this book is the essential resource for business continuity and resilience professionals.
