When delivered on time and retrieved within 6-8 hours of delivery (or sooner depending on your local climate and season), your ButcherBox products should arrive refrigerator cold—below 40°F as measured with a food thermometer. Always place frozen meats on a tray or dish when thawing and follow the USDA recommended safe thawing guidelines.
