Description

The Shamada has proven to be a trusted and true blade throughout this new era of blade development and technology. This all-wood constructed blade has the perfect balance of power and touch. The center core consist of balsa wood. Balsa is famous for being able to absorb a great deep of impact for improved control when playing defense or counter attacking. Walnut and Bass are secondary and outer wood plies, and they provide the power needed to balance out the balsa's large center core. This combination of 3 different types of wood produce sharp and explosive shots with the classic wood feel. This Quick Attack blade has an average weight of 89 grams. It does contain 5 plies and has a blade thickness of 7.5mm. The blade size is 160x150mm, and the handle size is 80x23mm. The rubber recommendation for this blade is the Dignics 05. For the Dignics line of rubber the 05 has the highest trajectory, and lands the shortest distance on the table. The 80 has the second highest, and lands in the middle of the table. The 64 has the lowest trajectory, and the longest travel path landing deepest on the table. To add more grip to this blade you can get the Soft Grip Tape. It provides grip and comfort to the racket handle. Another great choice for racket care is adding side tape to the blade. It can protect the wood in the event it is hit on the table.
