C&S 11.75 Oz. Berry Treat Suet

Because of where I hung it, it is difficult to see all the birds eating from it but I know that the Downy Woodpeckers definitely are. It lasts less than a week per cake. The squirrels do not mess with it. When I put out a peanut suet cake with no hot pepper, the squirrels managed to get the suet holder open and it dropped to the ground and they ate it, so I'll be sticking with these hot pepper suet cakes.

They seem to be of high quality and seem to last a long time. I even like the smell of them!!! This is my new favorite treat for my backyard birds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We refrigerated these before use, so unpacking them was quick, easy and clean. We loved seeing all the birds come and eat from this! It definitely attracted all kinds of native birds that we enjoyed watching chow down on this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] perhaps it is the desert climate I live in but I've had this outside hanging from a tree for several days now and 0 birds have come. I hear birds outside, but none have come to eat. I'm sad! we will take this up to our cabin in the mountains to see if those birds will like it better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased this brand of suet many times. I feel that the cakes last longer than loose feed in a feeder. The birds have to work at it more. I also like how they are easy storage to just stack in a corner of your closet and grab one quick when you need to refill. I would recommend these for any of you wild bird feeders. I received cashback on my purchase and am participating in a cashback program. This however, did not affect my personal review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our balcony birds do not care for this suet at all. We’ve been trying to entice them by smushing seeds into it and sticking it in the suet holder with another block that they enjoy, but overall it seems very merry and unappealing to the majority. Only exceptions are one chickadee and one mockingbird who seem to love it.

I purchase it in bulk- because it is very cost effective- and it is nice NEVER running out! I have noticed that the variety of birds I get really enjoy the small millet seed in this- as well as the larger Safflower seeds. This Spring I am looking forward to hanging a multi varied seed and this high energy suet- I usually have a vast array of birds- lets see what this brings in!!
