Purchased from Target on Dec 15th. My dog has previously had these bones and loved them. This one was rancid and smelled horrible!!! My dog has had diarrhea for 5 days straight and a $200 vet bill. Please recall to avoid hurting any other dogs!!!

This bone needs to be recalled. My dog is currently in the animal hospital with committing, diarrhea and dehydration. She has had these bones in the past with no problem. Looking at the other recent reviews you can see this is a pattern with this batch. Please please recall this bone!

This bone caused my dog to have diarrhea for several days. She is a Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix. This may not be tolerant for all dog breeds.

Healthy dog began vomiting and having bloody diarrhea

I should have read previous reviews on this shin bone before I purchased, as my otherwise healthy 7-year old Border Collie mix developed HGE (vomiting and bloody diarrhea) within hours of ingesting the bone filling. I rushed her to emergency vet and I was told that she was exposed to Clostridium perfringens (like C diff in humans) and she had to be hooked up to IV fluids and stay in hospital for 24 hours. She is now stable, but please avoid this product. There is higher risk of exposure toxin in bones and bully sticks, but this product should be recalled immediately.

My dogs enjoy these!! I’ve had no issues with them. I’ve given my two dogs a ton of these and one time my younger dog was able to split the bone. She just ate what was inside and I took it away but if she was unsupervised it could have been dangerous! It’s only happened with one bone out of a dozen so it’s rare. Try to chose ones they don’t have by chips on the edges, I think that’s what contributed here.

Bought this almost a year and a half ago. Bought others too and they do last. Just took this out of the cupboard and noticed the meat of the bone crumbly. The other end had a dead worm in it. My dog was there and now won't stop begging for the bone I'm going to have to throw away.

Great bone to keep your dog busy. I would recommend it but suggest to not let them have it for very long as eating too much of the inside filling gave my dog diarrhea.
