Book Synopsis
This is the true story of Danny Brewer, born in 1960 in eastern Kentucky with a birth defect. He was not expected to live. Instead, his life has been an amazing journey of discovery and blossoming faith.
As a small child, Danny Brewer was blessed with many talents and practical skills. He worked on engines and wired electrical circuits. But he felt tormented, an outcast. He wondered where God could be.
At age 21, he had a vivid dream. In it, a beloved cousin who had died two years earlier revealed events that would unfold in Danny's life - of people he would meet, places he would find himself. It seemed God had big plans for him.
Over the years, as scenes from his dream came true, Danny questioned himself and everything he believed. When he doubted, he found hope. But then it all seemed to stop. God seemed determined to make him stay in Kentucky.
Would Danny ever make it to the dream's end? He felt as if God had given up on him - until one day at a truck stop where he met a woman who was questioning why God had led her and her family to Kentucky, of all places. This remarkable book is a powerful message of optimism, discovery, and renewal. Learn how it can be your story, too.
