I have a Canon SLR to take personal pictures and I love having this lens! You definitely have to be further away from the subject compared to the start lens (50 mm) This lens blurs the background really good and focuses on the subject. That's why I got it. It'll be great for zooming in at sports gam...see moreof the reviewer's review

I just bought this lens last week after doing some comparison shopping. I couldnt find anything similar that could beat Target's price so here we are. Bought this item as a gift. The recipient picked it out so it was well received. Ordered it on line. Was concerned about it getting damaged during the delivery process. It was well packaged and very protected. It was in perfect condition when it arrived.

I bought this lens several months ago and use it a lot. Its fairly sturdy and well built, super compact for it's focal range, and surprisingly fast. However, stabilization is almost necessary for a lens of this length if you are shooting with any lack of light. Its tough to track animals with and no...see moreof the reviewer's review

Bought this one a while back and have been very satisfied with it. Just like a few others on here mentioned, quality can be a bit fuzzy when not using a tripod but it still pretty decent. Would not be my first choice to recommend to a professional but definitely great to start out with and learn.see moreof the reviewer's review
