I have had my camera for 6 years now and it still works great! I can truly say I have put this camera through some rough times and it was able to take the abuse and keep on going. The image quality is good but not the best. For me anymore the focus is too slow and the images are not sharp enough and that is why I am upgrading. If you are just taking family photos or were like me, a kid in 4H learning about lens cameras it is a great camera. You can do some really nice work with after you master all of the settings. I think this camera is one that many people would say won’t take good photos but it’s not so much about the camera as it’s about your skill set. Overall I have no complaints, it has served me well!

I have had the camera almost two years and have been pretty happy with it. I have taken some pretty good pictures when I get things dialed in.

Images are not sharp. Edges not crisp. Details not visible. Even using a tripod and timer the images are poor.

A lot of pros and a few cons with this camera. Lets start with the pros. I purchased the camera with the 18-55 mm lens at a reasonable price. The touch screen is a major plus, it makes it easier to use. The tilt screen allows you to view above crowds and get those low level shots with your pets. The multiple preset and manual selections allows you to be creative with your pictures. It is a beginners camera with a lot of features. Now for the cons. You won’t find replacement batteries at any corner store. You will have to order it online. Use caution when using after market batteries for this camera. The auto focus is nice and quite but It tends to struggle a little. Connecting the camera via WiFi is nice but you need to know what you’re doing. With that being said I feel that the T6i is perfect for a novice or intermediate photographer like myself.

I really like this camera, but I was dissapointed to see that from adorama.com I could have gotten the Canon T6s for the same price. Overall, I say that this an amazing purchase and you can't go wrong.

I knew I wanted to get my own camera after borrowing and using several friends, and decided I DEFINITELY wanted to go with Canon over anything else. I didn't think I'd use the touch screen as much... but I use it all the time! I'm in marketing so my favorite part? The quick and easy process from getting photos from my camera to my phone. I would buy this camera 10x over.

I bought this around a year ago and six months in it broke. I didn't even do anything to it. The shutter is the specific part that broke and I haven't been able to get it fixed. It did take good photos though.

I was so happy to find this deal. I was a bit leery of the refurb, but it looks BRAND NEW. You can put any worries you have at ease, Canon clearly goes over these cameras and you're getting a great value. Now I'm using the money I saved on getting some high quality lenses.

Wow! I love this camera! It takes the highest quality pix I've ever taken. Had Canon cameras since 1980. I've had 6 different cameras and this one takes the the best pix and is by far the easiest to use! Almost all the lenses I've had in this time still work extremely well. Buy one and you'll be taking professional pictures on the first try

I am very impressed with the T6i camera body. My use is advanced landscape photography on a tripod. The new high resolution 24 MP APS-C sensor combined with the Digic 6 processor truly works. Technical reviews tell the story far better then I can. I decided to roll the dice and give it a try. I'm so glad that I did. I chose this camera over the 80D because of its compact size and light weight. The sensor and processor in both cameras are identical. Classic Rebel cameras are also wonderfully user friendly. The T6i combined with premium lenses delivers the goods when used correctly. Images area clean and sharp across the frame. Large 20x30 prints are exceptional. The detail is amazing. Subtle detail and fine highlights show up better on most computer monitors with a little zoom (just a tip). Hence why large prints look so good. This camera is a game changer. The T6i is a great choice for the beginner or a seasoned pro. I highly recommend this camera.

The Canon EOS Rebel T6i EF-S 18-55mm IS STM Lens Kit is an excellent camera that I am very happy with. I also purchased the 55-250mm IS STM lens which is a must have addition with this camera. The T6i is very easy to use. Even if you are new to photography it will not take long to be up and running with this camera. I love the fact that you can crop and save photos on the camera. The Wi-Fi function works great. It is extremely easy to take a photo, upload it to your Smartphone and email it or post photos on line. This is a feature that I use a lot. Image quality is exceptional and photos just pop out that are tack sharp. The STM lenses are very quiet when recording video and video quality is excellent. Whether you are new to photography or an experienced photographer this is an excellent camera. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending the T6i.

I bought this approx 3 months ago this dslr is a great little camera! It has ISO up to 25k but usable photos up to 800 for crisp pics and a bit of grain at 3200 and 6400 but still very usable with some touch ups with Lightroom. I will say i am happy with my purchase and really enjoy the touch screen the different metering options built in and I use my dslr with yongnuo yn685 speedlite a and get studio like shots. Definitely pick up the 50mm 1.8 and also a tele lens 55-250mm for great tight shots and creamy bokeh. The battery life is my only complaint it seems like I always have to charge it. The wifi access and free app are great with iPads to edit and share your photos. It feels well built in your hand and the built in flash is great and decently powerful for fill flash in those tough lighting conditions. I shoot aperture priority when I am being lazy or want great photos with good depth of field, otherwise I shoot manual and this camera is very ergonomically friendly for making the adjustments manually on the fly. The HD video using the servo mode is great quality but the focusing servo leaves a bit to be desired it goes in and out of focus constantly but it is not where it is unusable. You can shoot he video in 29fps and 24fps in different sizes. The auto focusing feature is so so I find that even though I get a focus lock my picture don't always come out focused where I wanted them, I am still learning the camera and have read the informative manual. Overall it's a great entry level to intermediate dslr and I am very happy with my purchase. Canon makes great products and I will keep coming back.
