Good for ponytails.
I like the small container. The gel is a bit thicker and sticker than I would like. It does do a good job of keeping my edges in place for a smooth finish.

Not for 4c hair!!
So I do like the fact that it does not leave a sticky residue! After it’s done for the 10 minutes it appears to hold hair down, it is soft and lite.. But the hold is not there after 5-10 minutes.. My hair which is a 4c type is too thick for the gel.. disappointed, but atleast it didn’t leave a gross & sticky residue.

My daughter is mixed and this perfect for her edges! I use this for my daughter at least once a week and it holds for hours, smells really good and it lasts awhile I only have to buy this every 4-5. Months I love this brand and the products!

I don’t like it
I did not enjoy this edge control. I have really soft 4c hair. It’s very hard for my hair to consume or be weighed down by product. This edge control is not thick enough for my hair. It doesn’t feel as though it molds my hair properly the way it needs molding. Before I can close the container, my hairline is greasy and frizzy.

Super strong hold

My hair stayed molded for three hours after applying it. Loved it! I also really like the size of the container. Its the perfect size for my purse.I would recommend this product to a friend.

Easy edge control

The Perfect Braiding Gel

My only issue is that it doesn't give the hold that I like. I like a really strong hold, this edge product gives a medium to light hold. I will however use this on my braids.

Great shine not great hold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gel did not work great on my hair, I tried it on dry and wet hair styles, and it was the same result. After some minutes you could see all the baby hairs staring to curl up. It goes on smooth, but it doesn't hold. It doesn't feel greasy, nor does it make my hair greasy, just enough shine and it is flexible, it does not hold. I also used it on my child's hair with the same results. I have type 2C curls and my child has 3C.
